PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of settling a conductor in a simple structure in a short time and moreover preventing intrusion of dusts from a through-hole for insertion of a conductor.SOLUTION: In a display device provided with a support board 7 for supporting on one face side a light source for irradiating light to a display panel, a circuit board which is arranged on the other side of the support board 7 and drives the display panel or the light source, and a through-hole provided on the support board 7 for inserting a conductor 25 connected to the circuit board, there are further provided a protection tube 30 which is engaged with the through-hole and protects the conductor 25, a lid 50 which faces the protection tube 30 in an insertion direction of the through-hole and plugs the protection tube 30, and a recessed part 30b formed at a part mutually facing of the lid 50 and the protection tube 30.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device and a display device, capable of restraining brightness unevenness of illumination light due to a fixture of low reflectance. SOLUTION: A plurality of rectangular circuit boards 2 with a plurality of light-emitting elements 1 mounted in a long side direction on a surface, are arranged in a line in a long side direction as well as a width direction, for fixing each circuit board 2 to a support body placed on the other surface side, a plurality of fixtures 8 arranged with a space on a side of the surface of the circuit substrate 2 are inserted into openings 43 of a reflective sheet 4 arranged on the side of the surface of the circuit board 2, and the fixtures 8 arranged on adjoining circuit board 2 in a direction crossing a row are placed in zigzag with each other. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of efficiently connecting a plurality of arc tubes and a lighting circuit, as well as a video display device equipped with the light source device. SOLUTION: The light source device, provided with a backlight chassis 50, a plurality of cold-cathode fluorescent tubes 51 set in parallel with each other on the surface side of the backlight chassis 50 equipped with electrode terminals 51a, and a lighting circuit board 53 arranged at a rear side of the backlight chassis 50 and equipped with a lighting circuit 53a supplying power to the cold-cathode fluorescent tubes 51 to make them emit light, is further provided with a relay board 54 equipped with a plurality of fit-in recesses 54a each fitting in the electrode terminal 51a of each of the plurality of cold-cathode fluorescent tubes 51 and relaying between the plurality of cold-cathode fluorescent tubes 51 and the lighting circuit board 53 to supply power to the former 51, a through-hole 50c penetrating the relay board 54 fitted to the backlight chassis 50, and connecting parts connecting the relay board 54 having the through-hole 50c penetrated and the lighting circuit board 53 fitted to the relay board 54 as well as the lighting circuit board 53. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep uniformity of luminance by surely preventing generation of creases of an optical sheet caused by expansion and contraction by variation of temperature and humidity. SOLUTION: In this backlight device composed by arranging a diffusion plate 4 in front of a light source and by arranging one or more optical sheets 5 on the front surface of the diffusion plate 4 by stacking them, the upper ends of all or part of the optical sheets 5 are folded rearward and held by locking them to the upper end of the diffusion plate 4. All or part of the tips of the optical sheets 5 folded rearward are further folded downward and locked to the upper end of the back face of the diffusion plate 4. The lower end position of the optical sheets 5 locked to the upper end of the diffusion plate 4 is set higher than the upper surface of a horizontal part 7 being a base with the lower end of the diffusion plate 4 mounted thereon. In addition, spacers 8 and 9 being stopping members are arranged in front of all peripheral edges or appropriate parts of the diffusion plate 4 and the optical sheets 5 through minute spaces. SOLUTION: The reflection sheet has a flat part 51 having a substantially square shape and a frame part 52 to be folded at a first folded line 5b formed in the circumference of the flat part 51, and has a case shape. In the reflection sheet, between each corner part 51a of the flat part 51 and the periphery of a corner part 52a of the frame part 52, three second folded lines 53a, 53b, 53b spaced gradually wider from the corner part 51a of the flat part 51 to the periphery of the corner part 52a of the frame part 52 are provided, so that a gap and a step do not occur at the corner part 52a. SOLUTION: A light reflecting sheet 7 which is supported by a support body for supporting light sources and reflects the light emitted from the light sources comprises through-holes which penetrate through in the thickness direction and long holes which are separated from the through-holes in the direction along the surface of the sheet and long in the direction of the separation. A light source device is provided with: first shaft bodies fitted in the through-holes to set the position of the light reflection sheet 7 relative to support body; and second shaft bodies fitted in the long holes so as to be movable in the direction of the length of the long holes to set the position of the light reflecting sheet 7 relative to the support body. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device and a display device, capable of preventing stress from occurring in a plurality of circuit boards, connectors or the like, when the plurality of circuit boards connected by the connectors are fixed to a supporting body using fixtures. SOLUTION: The light source device includes a plurality of circuit boards 2 each having light-emitting elements 1 mounted on a surface 2a and arranged in separation with their surface directions aligned, a supporting body 6 disposed on the other surface of each of the plurality of circuit boards 2 so as to support the circuit boards, and connectors 5 electrically connecting two adjacent circuit boards 2 among a plurality of them. A plurality of insertion holes 2c, 2d into which fixtures 8 for fixing the circuit boards 2 to the supporting body 6 are inserted are formed in separation in each circuit board 2. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device and a display device that prevents an optical sheet from wrinkling even when the optical sheet is held on an LED substrate. SOLUTION: A reflecting sheet 11 is disposed between a first surface of an LED substrate 8 and each head of a rivet, a positioning rivet and a supporting rivet. Since a gap is formed between the heads and the reflecting sheet 11, the reflecting sheet 11 expands or contracts between the heads and the reflecting sheet 11 when a sudden heat change occurs, and the reflecting sheet 11 can be prevented from wrinkling. SOLUTION: The display device includes a front nipping member 2 having a first annular plate portion 21 opposed to the front of a peripheral edge of a display panel 1 and a first frame portion 22 extended backward from an outer edge of the first annular plate portion 21, a rear nipping member 3 having a second annular plate portion 31 opposed to the back of the peripheral edge of the display panel 1 and a second frame portion 32 extended backward from an outer edge of the second annular plate portion 31 and nipping the peripheral edge of the display panel 1 with the front nipping member 2, and the printed circuit board 9 connected to the display panel 1 and fitted to the second frame portion 32, and includes a suppression projection portion 23, which is opposed to a portion of the printed circuit board 9 to suppress deformation of the printed circuit board 9 toward the first frame portion 22, integrally with the first frame portion 22, thereby suppressing the curving of the printed circuit board 9 due to thermal expansion.
