Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a manganese nanowire. SOLUTION: A laser beam from a laser beam source 10 is collected with a condenser lens 12 and a manganese plate 18 is irradiated with it. The manganese plate 18 is located on the bottom of a container 14 and the aqueous solution of a surfactant having a predetermined concentration is stored in the container 14. Manganese is evaporated with the irradiation of the laser beam and crystallized in the aqueous solution, thus forming the manganese nanowire. This nanowire is a ferromagnetic substance.
