Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of constructing a grade separation at a grade crossing part, and a viaduct, which can reduce the range and period of traffic control compared with conventional construction work of a grade separation at a grade intersection or crossing, that is, capable of minimizing traffic jams due to the construction work. SOLUTION: The method of constructing a grade separation at a grade crossing part of a traffic way by use of a cable-stayed bridge includes a construction base building process for building a construction base 3 over an existing road without obstructing traffic on existing traffic roads; a main tower building process for building a main tower 1a by use of the construction base 3; a floor slab erecting process for erecting using the construction base 3 a floor slab 1b of a horizontal part and a floor slab 1b' which serves as a diagonal path leading to a first road 10a, by suspending the floor slabs from the main tower 1a by use of diagonals 1c, an horizontally overhanging the floor slabs for erecting in sequence; and a floor slab tilting process for tilting the floor slab 1b' as the diagonal path into a predetermined gradient by adjusting the diagonal 1c after erection of the floor slabs.
