    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display board designed to sufficiently enhance the consealing property of a background section in forming a transparent image section and background section on an image recording sheet, such as a transparent plastic sheet, by an electrophotographic printing system and a cowl board for vehicles. SOLUTION: The cowl board main body of the cowl board for passenger cars comprises a transparent substrate 10 and a printing layer 30 formed through a charge regulating layer 20 formed on the rear surface of the transparent substrate 10. The printing layer 30 has the opaque background section consisting of black toners of >=3.0 in transmission density and translucent image sections consisting of color toners having the transmission density within a range from 0.1 to 1.0 in transmission density.

    Abstract: An electrophotographic developer and a process for forming an image are provided in that the fixing can be conducted at a lower temperature than the conventional technique, and that are excellent in the powder storage stability, the anti-blocking property and the image storage stability after fixing without impairing the density, the coloring property and the transparency of the image after fixing, and further have appropriate electric charging property without any problem of fogging or cloud with excellent maintenance property of electric charge. The electrophotographic developer contains a toner for developing an electrostatic image containing a coloring agent and a binder resin containing, as a main component, a crystalline resin having a melting point of about from 60 to 120° C., and a carrier having a resin film containing a nitrogen-containing resin on a surface thereof. The process for forming an image is carried out by using the electrophotographic developer.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing carrier, electrostatic charge image developer and method of forming an image by which the development of a white void in a gradation border, chipping in a developed image or the deposition of a carrier on an image are prevented and the quality of the obtained image can be improved. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing carrier, electrostatic charge image developer and a method of forming an image have the following features. The electrostatic charge image developing carrier is prepared by forming a coating layer containing conductive powder on the surface of core particles, and the core particles have 25 to 50 μm volume average particle diameter and 106 to 1010 Ω.cm volume resistance. The core particles are in a rugged form having 2 to 5 shape index expressed by formula (1): shape index = BET specific surface area/(6/(volume average particle diameter × specific gravity of core particles)).

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent from the fall of a solid image trailing end, the fall of the half tone trailing end on a boundary part between the solid image and the half tone, and a brush mark over a long period. SOLUTION: With respect to this method, by applying this method to a developing device provided with a photoreceptor 10 for forming an electrostatic latent image, a developing sleeve 14 capable of rotating, and driving means for letting the photoreceptor 10 rotated in order to force the developing sleeve 14 relatively shifted along the photoreceptor surface, the magnetic brush development is performed by rotating the photoreceptor 10 and the developing sleeve 14, and allowing the photoreceptor 10 on which the electrostatic latent image is formed, and the magnetic brush developer formed on the developing sleeve 14 while consisting of the toner and carriers to be rubbed. In this case, resistance of the magnetic brush developer layer per unit length in the shaft direction of the developing sleeve 14 is set to, 5.0×10 to 7.0×10 Ω/cm, under the electric field strength of 0.4V/μm, and 5.0×10 to 8.0×10 Ω/cm, under the electric field strength of 2.0V/μm.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a full-color toner, its production method, and image forming method using this full-color developer so that the such optimum characteristics required for a high picture quality fullcolor toner as the values of coloring property, chroma, and surface gloss of picture images, improved transparency, and decrease in hiding property, are obtained. CONSTITUTION:The full-color toner contains magenta, cyan and yellow coloring materials and a binder resin. The magenta coloring material and cyan coloring material have the value h expressed by a formula h=(l+w)/2 in the range of 0.05-0.11(mum) when l is the average major axis and w is the average minor axis of each coloring material. To produce the full-color toner, a water-base slurry containing an org. pigment is prepared, to which a resin is added to replace water in the slurry with the resin to obtain a resin dispersion piqment. Then, the resin dispersion pigment is molten and kneaded with a binder resin, and then pulverized. The fullcolor image is formed by forming a latent image on a latent image holding body and developing the latent image with the developer.
