Each of the laser beam detectors P1K, P2K outputs a change signal for changing the scanning position of the laser beam to the scanning position changing means 71, 72, 73 corresponding to a detected color shift amount and redetects the scanning position of the laser beam corresponding to each of colors before an image is formed.
