PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing made of a Cu-Ni-Sn series copper based sintered alloy for an electronic control type throttle withstanding the rocking rotation of a shaft over a long period and having excellent reliability. SOLUTION: The bearing made of a Cu-Ni-Sn series copper based sintered alloy for an electronic control type throttle has a componential composition comprising 17 to 22% Ni, 8 to 10% Sn, 5 to 7% C, 0.1 to 0.3% P and 2 to 4% calcium fluoride, and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities, and has a structure where free graphite and calcium fluoride are dispersed into the base. SOLUTION: This commutator (1) as a current application element for a fuel pump DC motor comprises a carbon layer (11), which contains carbon as the main component and has a sliding surface on its one end side and a metal carbon layer (12), which is fixed to the other end side of the carbon layer and contains 55-90 wt.% of a metal with brass as the main component and the remainder which contains carbon as the main component. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize cutoff torque for use at an overload in despite of a wide range of environmental temperature changes. SOLUTION: This power transmission device comprises a frictional engagement mechanism 7a, 11a, 13 to 16 for engaging a driving rotary member 1, 10, 11, 12 and a driven rotary member 7 with each other with frictional force. The frictional engagement mechanism uses an intermediate friction member 13 of graphite adapted to shear fracture when the transmission torque between both those rotary members reaches a set value. During normal operations of a compressor 4, this intermediate friction member 13 of the frictional engagement mechanism transmits the rotation of the driving rotary member 1, 10, 11, 12 to the driven rotary member 7. During overloaded operations of the compressor 4, meanwhile, this intermediate friction member 13 shears into fracture to set the driving rotary member 1, 10, 11, 12 idling.

SOLUTION: This laminated brush, which has copper and graphite as its main constituent and consists of two brush segments: a high copper percentage portion, having high copper contents containing solid lubricant and a low copper percentage portion, having low copper contents, contains zinc of at least 0.1 to 5 wt% in the high copper percentage brush segment and is structured with zinc and copper forming an alloy. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmitting device with a constitution of good assembly workability without using a rolling ball whereby at overload time, a torque limiter function can be well displayed. SOLUTION: Mutually among a flange part 11a integrally molded in an inner side holding member 11, washer 13, circular arc-shaped protrusion part 7f in a flange part 7a of a hub 7, and a washer 14, by tension of a belleville spring 15, is friction engaged mutually into contact. In this way, when a compressor 4 is in ordinary operation, rotation of the inner side holding member 11 in a drive side is transmitted to a hub 7 and a rotary shaft 6 through a friction engaging mechanism. On the other hand, at overload time, between the washer 13 and the circular arc-shaped protrusion part 7f in a flange part 7a of the hub 7, which is a friction engaging surface decreasing a coefficient of friction, a slip is generated, by this slip, the washer 13 is dropped to come off in a notched recessed part of the hub 7, to be displaced in an axial direction of the rotary shaft 6, in this way, pressing force of the belleville spring 15 is reduced, the flange part 11a is raced.

SOLUTION: A commutator 5 in a DC electric motor has a plurality of commutator pieces 6 that comes into contact with a brush 4, each of the commutator pieces 6 a low resistance layer 61 made up of a low-resistance material, a high-resistance layer 62 made up of a high resistance material of which resistivity is higher than that of the low-resistance material. A low resistance material contains a carbon material and a binder, and a high-resistance material contains a carbon material and a binder and a boron nitride (BN) as an inorganic substance.
