SOLUTION: The device for driving the induction heating means of an induction hob, in which power is supplied to the induction heating means via an electric power grid or its grid phase thereof, includes a filter unit and a rectifier unit with at least one converter and an intermediate circuit. For two induction heating means, one rectifier unit and two converters are connected to one filter unit. For another induction heating means, an additional converter is connected at a downstream side of the existing filter units.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for connecting an induction hob by a simple way in an efficient and suitable position and composing the hob efficiently, and to provide the induction hob. SOLUTION: The induction hob is provided with an inductor supporting board in which open mouth portions are arranged. A position and a measurement of the open mouth portions, if inductors are positioned in predetermined places, are determined so that same distances are kept against three of inductors to be mounted on the inductor supporting board. Supporting parts of a tray shape provided with a controlling mechanism and power electronics are fixed with the inductor supporting board under the open mouth portions. The inductors are fixed on the inductor supporting board and are connected electrically with the controlling mechanism and the power electronics by a connecting cable through the open mouth portions.
