Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent easily the water leakage from a packing member at a bearing section with the valve spindle in a valve casing without cutting off the water in the pipeline.
SOLUTION: A preventive device of water leakage of a gate valve etc., is equipped with a valve body and a valve spindle 6, and the leakage of water from the valve spindle 6 is prevented by a packing member 8 and a packing gland 9 that are provided so as to surround the valve spindle 6 at the bearing area of the valve spindle 6. When the water is leaked from the packing member 8, this preventive device of water leakage has moreover the first annular seal member 12 that one end face is contacted closely to the position surrounding the outside of the packing member 8, and an inner circumference face is contacted closely to the packing gland 9 between the valve casing 2 and a packing gland 9; the fixing member 17 that is fixed to the packing gland 9 and faces in a specified distance to the outer circumference face of the valve spindle 6, in the side of valve spindle 6 extended to the outside operation means from the packing gland 9; and the second annular seal member 13 that is installed tightly in the close contact condition, so that an inner circumference face is closely contacted to the outer circumference of the valve spindle 6 against the fixing member 17.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion pipe joint which can obtain certain escape- preventive function with an easy connection operation, unnecessitates specific operation such as cutting of a pipe in order to exchange of piping for easy separation of a connection part. SOLUTION: An expansion pipe joint is connected while a reception port 10 and an insertion port 30 are relatively movable within a specified range in an axial direction, and prevented from escaping from each other. Diametrally projecting engagement projections 16, 36 are partially formed circumferentially on an inner periphery 12 of the reception port 10 and an outer periphery of the insertion port 30. The projections 16, 36 enable engagement in an axial direction of the reception port 10 and the insertion port 30, and insertion of the insertion port 30 to the reception port 10 through dislocation of their positions in a rotational direction.
