摘要: PURPOSE:To improve heat resistance of a piston, by flame spraying any of the materials of Al2O3 ceramic, zirconia-yttria compound and alumina while on top of this material a material of zirconia, Ni-Cr-Al compound, Mo-Ni-Al compound, etc. on a top surface of the piston. CONSTITUTION:The top surface of a piston provides the first flame sprayed layer flame spraying one kind selected from a group comprising a material of Al2O3 ceramic, zirconia-yttria compound and alumina. On top of this layer, the second flame sprayed layer is formed by flame spraying one kind or more of a material of zirconia, Ni-Cr-Al compound and Mo-Ni-Al compound. In this way, the piston improves its heat resistance.
