摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for decoding multiple video signals, and an associated method.SOLUTION: Video signals may be component video, composite video or s-video signals having multiple portions using each multi-mode video decoder. In a selection stage, the multiple video signals are combined and their video signal portions may be selected for processing. In the selection stage, some of the video signal portions may be time-division multiplexed. An analogue/digital conversion stage may be shared with time-division multiplex of the video signals. In a decoder stage, various signal portions may be decoded, and the decoded output video signals may be provided. By these features, total costs of the system are reduced. Using various clock signals, various stages of the multi-mode video decoder may be operated. Some of the clock signals may be operated at different frequencies, and the other clock signals may be operated at different phases.
