Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a gasket for a fuel cell, improving the mounting workability and accuracy of a mounted position without using an adhesive when mounting the gasket to a mounting member. SOLUTION: The structure for mounting the gasket for the fuel cell 11 to the gasket mounting member has a fitting structure 31 for concavo-convex fitting and mounts the gasket to the mounting member using this fitting structure without adhering. The gasket is a unit mold product of rubber-like elastic body with a protrusion on the gasket and a corresponding recess on the mounting member. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize leakage of a permeating gas even if the material of a gasket is inferior in gas impermeability in a fuel cell unit component integrally having the gasket. SOLUTION: The fuel cell unit component includes: a plate-like cell component body 1; and the gasket 2 integrally formed on the surface of the cell component body 1 with a rubber material or a synthetic resin material having a rubber-like property. The gasket 2 includes: a seal projection 21 which is brought into close contact with another cell component 3 in an adequate compression state; and a flat seal portion 22 which has a larger width than that of the seal projection 21 and bought into close contact with the other cell component 3 in a compression state at a lower compression ratio than that of the seal projection 21. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit a reactant gas from shortcutting from a manifold inlet to a manifold outlet via a gasket mounting groove without going by way of a power generation area; and to improve the power generation efficiency of a fuel cell. SOLUTION: In a sealing structure for a fuel cell, which inhibits the reactant gas in a cell from leaking to the outside of the cell by bringing a gasket 4 made of a rubber-like elastic body, which is formed integrally on MEA 1 or a frame 3 stacked on the MEA 1 into close contact with the inner surface of a gasket mounting groove 6 disposed in a separator 5, a gas inflow prevention portion 8 is placed in a side area of the mounting groove 6 to prevent the reactant gas from flowing into the mounting groove 6 in the cell and shortcutting. The gas inflow prevention portion 8 pinches a thin-film-like seal 9 that is formed integrally on the MEA 1 or the frame 3 with the gasket 4, with the MEA 1, or the frame 3 and the separator 5.
