PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retransmission device which can reduce a variable width of gain and also helps to simplify a circuit scale and cut back on costs.SOLUTION: When detection output from a detector 7 which detects output of a gain variable amplifier 4 falls below a level equivalent to provisions for low-power radio stations stipulated by a radio law, a switch 6 turns on so that output from the gain variable amplifier 4 is supplied to a retransmission antenna 10 via the switch 6. When detection output from the detector 7 exceeds a level equivalent to provisions for low-power radio stations stipulated by a radio law, the switch 6 turns off so that output from the gain variable amplifier 4 is not supplied to the retransmission antenna 10 via the switch 6. This makes it possible to reduce a variable width of gain for the gain variable amplifier 4, as well as to simplify a circuit scale and cut back on costs.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of received messages in a mobile unit at a roaming destination as high as that in a mobile unit at a roaming source, if the transfer protocol of messages to be transferred, using a push type transfer protocol, differs between the roaming source and the roaming destination. SOLUTION: Upon receipt of a termination report request from a mail server MALS, a gateway exchange GMMS decides whether a mobile unit MS at the address of the termination report is roaming out of a mobile communication network IMT to a mobile communication network GSM, and, when deciding it is roaming out, sends a termination report message with added information peculiar to the gateway exchange GMMS in an SMS message format to a mobile unit MS at the address. Upon receipt of the SMS message, the mobile unit MS determines the send source of the message, based on this message and predetermined key information, and discards this message, if the send source is not the gateway exchange GMMS. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retransmission device which can satisfy provisions for low-power radio stations stipulated by a radio law and also can secure almost equal reception sensitivity performance when a whip antenna used on a receiving terminal is stretched and when it is retracted.SOLUTION: A power feeding unit 6 is disposed at an end of a terminal placement region 21 of an enclosure 2 in which a receiving terminal 50 is placed, and a retransmission antenna 7 is disposed in parallel to a ground pattern 8 of a circuit board 3 and oppositely thereto at a distance from the enclosure 2. This enables the retransmission antenna 7 of a retransmission device 1 and a receiving terminal antenna 52 of the receiving terminal 50 to be electromagnetically firmly coupled, making it possible for the receiving terminal 50 to obtain high reception sensitivity performance. Also, this helps lower the gain of the retransmission antenna 7, making it possible to satisfy provisions for low-power radio stations stipulated by a radio law.
