摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a plant material having an improved additional value by fermenting the plant material by using microorganisms such as lactic bacteria and yeasts, and to produce a useful food, cosmetic or the like from the product. SOLUTION: The raw or dried plant material is optionally finely pulverized, and if necessary, water and a sugar source at a required smallest amount for the fermentation is added to the plant material. The resultant plant material is fermented by the microorganisms such as the lactic bacteria and the yeasts. The product is dried and formed into a powder as it is or after heating, and the powder is subjected to processing. The plants fermented by the microorganisms contain live bacteria, killed bacteria and products of the microorganisms which are considered to be useful in recent years, but hardly contain a culture medium and a nutritive value which are considered to be unnecessary. 摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide foods or cosmetics which retain or improve the excellent food effect and functions of mushrooms as well as show excellent quality, safety, good taste and food feeling. SOLUTION: Raw or dried fruit bodies and/or mycelia, when necessary, finely crushed, are combined with one or more kinds of lactobacilli and yeasts and the mixture is fermented. The fermentation mixture, its dried product or their powdery products are used as foods or the powdery product is added to foods or cosmetics and the mixtures are processed to foods or cosmetics. As fruits and mycelia of mushrooms are fermented together with lactobacilli and yeasts, the resultant fermentation products or their processed products have the actions and effects of the mushrooms as well as the effects of the culture mixture of microorganisms whereby the complex effects are developed. 摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high-quality refined propolis separated from impurities from crude propolis and freed from uncomfortable odor through an easy operation. SOLUTION: This refined propolis in the form of fine powder is obtained by adding a paraffin-based solvent to a water-miscible organic solvent solution of crude propolis followed by stirring and cleaning the resultant solution and then removing the solvent therefrom.
