摘要: PURPOSE: To prevent generation of noises and uneven reading by controlling switchingly the original carrying speed to a proper speed in response to a storage state of picture information to a line memory to decrease the number of times of stop of carrying of a recording medium.
CONSTITUTION: A step motor 3 carrying an original is driven synchronously with a signal fed to a read section 1. Every time the read section 1 finishes transfer of one line of picture information to a line memory 2, a CPU 8 adds 1 to a counter register 6. When coding of one line's share of the picture information of the line memory 2 is finished, the CPU 8 decreases 1 from the counter register 6. The speed inputting the picture information to the line memory 2, that is, the original carrying speed is decided by the result of comparison between the value (line number stored in the line memory 2) of the counter register 6 and a threshold value stored in the memory 7.

CONSTITUTION: When an original is operated by some driving system and passes a switch SW1, a bit corresponding to a counter D1 of a control flag 4 is set to '1', and data for detection of jam between switches SW1 and SW2 is set to the counter D1. Each time a line signal is generated, a line signal counter 3 is counted up by +1. When the control operation is performed n-number of times for a certain period, line counting is performed by the counter D1; and if the result is ≤0, jam is detected, and jam detection is indicated on the control flag 4, and contents of the line signal counter 3 are set to '0' because of the end of the use. Thus, only the line signal is counted but the original carrying control is not performed till the (n+1)th control operation.

CONSTITUTION: The codes are not saved to a register but saved as a 1-byte command at a time point when it is changed into the command of a facsimile control loop processor FCP. Then the 1-byte command is stored to a random access memory RAM at the termination of a line and then loaded through the RAM at the head of the next line. Then the command itself is used as the one of the FCP to produce a PEL at the head of the line. In such a way, the number of program steps is decreased less to increase the line processing speed, and 8 bits suffices a register which saves codes.

CONSTITUTION:In a belt skew-advancement detector 24, the contact condition betwen a lever 26 and a belt 11 is changed according to the skew-advancement condition of the belt 11, the lever 26 turns around a support shaft 28, a light detector 27 moves between an opaque portion 25a, a semi-transparent portion 25b, and a transparent portion 25c, and detection signal are sent out according to each condition. Of these signals, signal for the semitransparent portion 25b is regarded as an insensitive zone by a control circuit and the control circuit does not operate, but signals positioned in the opaque portion 25a and the transparent portion 25c are judged as a skew-advancement condition. The solenoid for vertically moving conveyer rollers (not illustrate) is put into on-off action, and the roller positions are corrected. Only one skew-advancement detector is thus sufficient, and the miniaturization and stabilization of the belt position controller can be attained.
