摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To press a wound roll so as not to make a paper edge flap and not to leave a pressing flaw on the wound roll by providing pressure regulating mechanism for regulating air pressure to be supplied to an air cylinder so that pressing force of a paper edge pressing means to the wound roll has the nearly constant value. SOLUTION: An air pressure selector valve 41 is interposed in a line between an air cylinder 28 and an air pressure source A. An electro-pneumatic converter 42 is interposed between an expansion side partition chamber of the air cylinder 28 and the air pressure selector valve 41 so as to variably regulate the secondary pressure of supplied air. A controller C outputs a command signal to the electropneumatic converter 42 so as to change the secondary pressure into requested secondary pressure. The controller C also performs necessary operation on the basis of the weighed amount inputted to a control panel and outputs a command signal for regulating supplied air pressure for the necessary output of the air cylinder 28. The appropriate output of the air cylinder 28 corresponding to the wound diameter of a wound roll is obtained by an operation expression. Setting of obtained air pressure is commanded to the electropneumatic converter 42 to obtain appropriate pressing force.

Also the center drive device 8 is provided with a slide mechanism 70 which slides the coupling 80 attached to the top end of the output shaft of a reduction gear 62 so that the coupling 80 can be connected or disconnected from the coupling of the reel spool 6. In addition, the coupling 80 is connected to the output shaft of the speed reducer 62 through a pneumatic shock absorbing ring.

摘要: PURPOSE:To on-line cool and carry a stock by providing a plurality of turning roller units and idler turning rollers corresponding to them and, besides, arranging a moving beam to progressively feed the stock on a cooling zone. CONSTITUTION:A pair of turning rollers 4 is supported rotatably on a fixed frame 3, driven through a gear train 5, rotated at a uniform speed, turning roller units 2 and the same number of sets of moving beams 9 are juxtaposed. First, cooling water is sprayed by a cooling spray equipment 7 from the upper part of a stock to be carried 1. Then, all of the moving beams 9 are fluctuated by driving a crank 11 provided on the inlet side and outlet side of the moving beams 9. Idler rollers 10, consequently, are rotated and driven simultaneously with the turning rollers 4 and fed progressively pitch by pitch. In this way, the stock can be cooled and carried on-line.

摘要: PURPOSE:To quickly change rolls integrated with a spacer in an offline mode by few crane operations by installing a new roll receiving table and a used roll receiving table in one and the other sides respectively and installing a means driving a chock supporting frame on a driving and an operating side at an intermediate position between the two receiving tables. CONSTITUTION:A driving and an operating side chock supporting frames 4 and 5 are set up vertically by activation of a hydraulic motor 10. An upper and lower roll unit removed from a rolling mill and hung by a crane is inserted into a U-shaped receiving part of supporting frames 4 and 5 to be supported. The motor 10 revolves the frames 4 and 5 around a shaft 6 so that a used roll receiving table 3 supports the roll unit and is removed from the frames 4 and 5. Then, a new roll unit is put on a new roll receiving table 2 and the frames 4 and 5 are revolved around the shaft 6 by activation of the motor 10 to the new roll receiving table 2 side. The new roll unit is supported by the frames 4 and 5, which are then revolved to be set up vertically. The new roll unit is hung by the crane to be installed in the rolling mill.

摘要: PURPOSE:To surely remove reinforcement of weld by arranging stands in opposition movably with a plate-pass line between and arranging a couple of cutting tools to cut and remove only an end of reinforcement of weld up and down on the stands and driving each cutting tool to rotate separately. CONSTITUTION:The stands 1 are moved in accordance with the plate size and both ends of the plate are sandwiched by the couple of cutting tools 3 up and down and the cutting tools are rotated by a rotation driving source 11 and the reinforcement of weld is cut and removed while moving the plate. When the cutting tools 3 are made capable of opening and closing, these can meet various thicknesses and in addition, positioning is carried out and excessive cutting is prevented when a suitable guide plate is used. When an elevating synchronous mechanism 12 is made a rack and pinion type, an open state is maintained even in case there is no pressure in a hydraulic cylinder 13 by making a lower chock 9L heavy. The plate is prevented from sticking out from a guide by arranging a side guide roller 20 and the end of the plate is cut and removed more completely.

摘要: PURPOSE:To allow centering of the butt ends of materials and to allow the sure and good execution of a welding operation by disposing centering devices which can guide both side ends of the respective materials to the material incoming side of a cutter and the material outgoing side of a welding device between the two devices. CONSTITUTION:One unit each of the cutter 1 which cuts the tail end of the preceding material P1 and the front end of the succeeding material P2 respectively in the transverse direction and the welding device 2 which butts the tail end of the preceding material P1 and the front end of the succeeding material P2 against each other and welds these ends are disposed. Incoming side and outgoing side moving devices 17A, 17B which can transfer the materials by the distance L1 between the cutting position and the welding position while clamping the same are disposed. The centering devices 21, 22 which guide both side ends to the position of the material incoming side parted by the same distance L2 from the cutting position and the welding position are disposed. The centering devices 22, 25 are disposed to the position on the material outgoing side of the distance L3 from the cutting position and welding position. The set condition at the time of cutting is reproduced in this way at the time of the setting for welding of the preceding material and the succeeding material and the sure welding operation is carried out while the perpendicularity is maintained.

CONSTITUTION:At the time of changing roll including a mill body 10, a link 9 slants to the mill outlet side by loosening a push to the mill body 10 by retracting action of the rod of a hydraulic cylinder 7. Thus, respective links 9 swing in the mill outlet side by the own weight of a saddle 8 and the body 10 by the saddle 8 abuts on a stopper 11 with the body 10 supported by the cylinder 7. The swing amounts are sequentially larger from the mill inlet side toward the outlet side, so that gaps 12 between a mill inlet side device 2 and the saddle 8 at the mill inlet end, respective saddles 8, the saddle 8 in the mill outlet end and the top of a pushing rod 6 occur, respectively. Therefore, a universal joint 14 is removed from a roll assembly 13 to easily change rolls including the body 10.

摘要: PURPOSE:To reduce a roll diameter so that the larger roll crossing angle can be taken by mounting roll bearings to a yoke by trunnion support and sliding shaft parts and yoke on cylindrical faces around the shaft parts of the trunnions. CONSTITUTION:The trunnion part 3 is provided to the front end of the yoke 1 supported to a cradle 2 and the yoke front face between the trunnion parts 3 is formed on the cylindrical faces around the bearing parts 5 of the trunnion parts 3. The roll 10 is set by a traction mechanism 11 and screw bars 12 so as to be disposed in the position where the roll races the pass line. The rolling reaction acting on the bearings 6 during rolling are directly transmitted to the yoke 1 through the rear face 8 of the bearing and the front face 4 of the yoke which are in slidable contact with each other on the inside cylindrical faces around the shaft parts 7 of the trunnions so that the action of bending moment on the trunnion parts 3 is obviated. Since the trunnion parts 3 retreate from the front faces 9 of the bearings, the roll disposition to assure the min. required spacing L between the material and the front faces 9 of the bearings is made possible.
