Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat-type piezoelectric ultrasound motor which generates a rotational force in a rotor, utilizing ultrasonic vibration. SOLUTION: The flat-type piezoelectric ultrasonic motor includes a vibrator, a plurality of piezoelectric plates stuck to the vibrator, a rotor connected to the vibrator so as to transmit power to the vibrator, and a power supply means to output a drive voltage to the piezoelectric plates, where the piezoelectric plates are arranged to form a constant angel to an adjacent longitudinal axis in quadripartite regions surrounding the vibrator, also arranged so as to face each other, having a polarizing direction mutually opposite, and are applied with a drive AC voltage by a power supply means, to perform rotation action of the rotor.
