PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological information detector and the like which can suppress negative effects caused by a contact state between a subject and a contact surface and can suppress negative effects by direct light from a light emitting part.SOLUTION: A biological information detector includes: a detecting part which has a light receiving part 140 for receiving light from a subject and a light emitting part 150 for emitting light to the subject; a translucent member 30 which is provided at a case surface side that comes in contact with the subject of the biological information detector and transmits the light from the subject and light from the light emitting part 150; diaphragm parts 80 and 82 which are provided between the translucent member 30 and the detecting part, between the translucent member 30 and the subject, or in the translucent member 30 and narrow the light from the subject and light from the light emitting part 150 in an optical path between the subject and the detecting part; and a light shielding part 100 provided between the light receiving part 140 and the light emitting part 150.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a liquid droplet ejection head capable of sufficiently securing adhesion and tight contactness of a resin thin film constituting a diaphragm part to a reservoir base plate, and preventing the resin thin film from being peeled. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the liquid droplet ejection head includes: a process to form a reservoir recessed part 23a by wet-etching from one surface of a silicon base plate; a process to laminate a lower metal film 26 all over the internal surface from the opening outer edge of the reservoir recessed part and laminating the resin thin film 25 on the film 26 by means of a masking member having an opening larger than the opening of the reservoir recessed part; a process to selectively remove the silicon in the bottom part of the reservoir recessed part by etching from the other surface of the silicon base plate, and expose the lower metal film; a process to form the diaphragm part by removing the exposed lower metal film by etching until the resin thin film is exposed; and a process to form a recessed part covering the opening outer edge of the reservoir recessed part so that it may not come in contact with the laminated film composed of the lower metal film and the resin thin film at the manufacture of a nozzle base plate. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of nozzle plate for droplet discharge which enable a nozzle to attain a high density while enabling the nozzle to have a stable discharge properties. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of nozzle plate comprises a step of forming an etching protective film (SiO 2 film) 44 on at least one surface of the silicon substrate 41 in which a cylindrical nozzle part 11a is formed and on the side and bottom surfaces of the cylindrical nozzle part 11a, a step of forming an opening 44a by removing the etching protective film 44 at the periphery parts of the cylindrical nozzle part 11a of one surface of the silicon substrate 41 so as to have a larger diameter than the hole diameter of the cylindrical nozzle part 11a, and a step of forming a taper-like nozzle part 11b by dry-etching the silicon substrate 41 of the etching protective film 44 in which the opening 44a is formed. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission-type screen and a display device, in which contrast can be improved using a simple design. SOLUTION: The transmission screen is provided with a translucent sheet with a colored layer, of which the thickness is ≥2Å and ≤5μm, and the OD value is ≥0.2 formed on the incident light side. The OD value is preferably 0.3 to 3.0, and the thickness of the colored layer is preferably ≤3μm. The translucent sheet is formed of polycarbonate or acrylic resin, for instance. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide; a method of manufacturing a substrate with recessed parts with a high productivity; a substrate with the recessed parts, and a substrate with the recessed parts for microlenses, which are manufactured by this method; a microlens substrate manufactured by using the substrate with the recessed parts for microlenses; and a transmission screen and a rear projector which are provided with the microlens substrate. SOLUTION: A mask 6 is formed on a substrate 5, and initial holes 61 are formed in the mask 6 by a physical method, and the substrate 5 is etched by using the mask 6 having initial holes 61 formed therein to form the recessed parts on the substrate 5. In a method of forming the initial holes 61, blast treatment is preferable. It is preferable that glass beads having 50 to 100μm diameter are used as projection material for the blast treatment. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission type screen whose characteristics of the angle of visibility in up-and-down/right-and-left/oblique directions are enhanced with good balance so that the characteristics of the angle of visibility may be more excellent, and also a rear type projector equipped with such an excellent transmission type screen. SOLUTION: The transmission type screen is equipped with a Fresnel lens part where a Fresnel lens is formed on its surface on an emitting surface side and a micro-lens array part which is arranged on the emitting surface side of the Fresnel lens part and where many micro-lenses are formed on its surface on an incident surface side. The micro-lens array part is constituted by rotating what is obtained by arraying the micro-lenses crosswise so that the adjacent micro-lenses come into contact with each other so as to hold their sides in common by 45°. The translucent member 30 has on a first surface SF1 a projection part 40 which comes in contact with the subject when measuring biological information of the subject and presses it, and has a recessed part 32 at a position corresponding to the projection part 40 on a second surface SF2 on the reverse side of the first surface SF1.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological information detector and the like which can suppress degradation in quality of a detection signal and the like caused by a change of a contact state around a projection part or the like.SOLUTION: A biological information detector includes: a detecting part that has a light receiving part for receiving light from a subject; a translucent member 30 which is provided at a case surface side that comes in contact with the subject of the biological information detector, transmits light from the subject, and has a projection part 40 that comes in contact with the subject and presses it when measuring biological information of the subject; and a pressure suppressing part 60 which is provided so as to encircle the projection part 40 on the case surface and suppresses the pressure the projection part gives to the subject. Groove parts 42 are provided between the projection part 40 of the translucent member 30 and the pressure suppressing part 60.

SOLUTION: The biological information detector includes: a light-emitting part 14 which emits a first light R1 directed at a detection site O of a test subject and a second light R2 directed in a direction other than a direction of the detection site O; a first reflecting part 12 which reflects the second light R2 and directs the second light towards the detection site O; a light-receiving part 16 which receives light R1', R2' having biological information, which is the light produced by the first light R1 and the second light R2 being reflected at the detection site O; and a second reflecting part 18 which reflects the light R1', R2' (reflected light) having biological information from the detection site and directs the light having biological information towards the light-receiving part 16.
