Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development apparatus where, when development is performed using a two component developer composed of each toner comprising a coloring agent whose content is ≥10 wt.% and each carrier, the sticking of the toner to the surface of the circumferential face in a development sleeve is prevented, so as to improve a picture. SOLUTION: The development apparatus is provided with: a development tank 11 storing a two component developer composed of each carrier having a core material and a covering layer for covering the core material, and each toner containing a releasing agent, a coloring agent or the like; and a development sleeve 4 carrying the two component developer on the circumferential face and feeding the toner to the surface of a photoreceptor 100 at a development region Y. In the toner comprised in the two component developer, the content of the coloring agent is ≥10 wt.%, and, in the toner stored in the development tank 11, the content of the toner with a particle diameter of 0.6 to 2.0 μm is ≤10 piece %. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method of preventing scratch of a surface of a photoreceptor even when used in a low-humidity environment for a long time, in a two-component color image forming apparatus which employs a cleaning blade as cleaning means of an electronic photoreceptor.SOLUTION: In a two-component color developing apparatus which employs a cleaning blade as cleaning means of an electronic photoreceptor, two-component developer for electrophotography includes resin-coated carrier and toner formed by externally adding an external additive formed of particles having an average primary particle diameter of 50-200 nm, and shaving amount of a coating layer in deterioration test of the resin-coated carrier is 0.1% or less of resin-coated carrier weight in the developer before the test.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize stable fixing capability with low-temperature fixability and high-temperature offset resistance, have good crushability and fluidity, and form a fine, high-quality image.SOLUTION: A toner for electrostatic charge development of the present invention includes toner base particles manufactured by fusing and kneading before pulverizing and classifying a toner composition containing a binder resin, colorant, and wax. The toner has the volume median diameter (D50) of 5.5 to 7.5 μm; the content rate of the toner base particles having a diameter of 5 μm or smaller is 15 to 55 number%; and the content rate of toner particles having a diameter larger than 10 μm is 1.5 number% or less.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming device using trickle developing system for reusing a collected developer and obtaining color images of desired quality. SOLUTION: A digital multifunction machine 1 has a plurality of developing devices 224a-224e for supplying a developer including a toner and a carrier and adhering the toner for electrostatic latent images on a photoreceptor corresponding to image information to form toner images, and transfers the toner images on a sheet to form the images. The digital multifunction machine 1 has a developer collection mechanism for collecting the developer from the developing devices 224a-224d to be conveyed to a specific developing device 224e, and a mode determining part 104 for determining a draft output mode or a normal output mode. When determining the draft output mode, the digital multifunction machine forms images of the draft output mode by using the collected developer in the specific developing device 224e. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-component developer and a binary developing device using the same which can suppress the fall in hot offset occurring temperature caused by the exfoliate of a coated layer, the shortage of image density, a fogging of images and a toner dispersion. SOLUTION: In manufacturing a two-component developer used in a two-component development device 1 of an image forming device 100, the content of acrylic resin in a carrier's coated layer is made to be within the range of 5 to 50 wt.% of the total content of the coated layer, and the dielectric loss value (tanδ) of a toner is set to be within the range of 4.0×10 -3 to 15.0×10 -3 . By using such a two-component developer, the fall in hot offset phenomenon occurrence temperature can be prevented in a fixing device 30. Also, the shortage in the image density, fogging of images, and toner dispersion can be suppressed, and images of high quality, having sufficient image density, can be obtained. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing toner capable of mixing raw materials without allowing the raw materials to fuse to a mixer when mixing the raw materials while using a low melting point crystalline compound. SOLUTION: In a mixing process 2, carbon black 3 having characteristics of 3 to 4 in pH value and 100 to 150 m 2 /g in specific surface area and/or the fine powder 4 produced in a classifying process in a toner manufacturing process are added to the raw materials, by which the surface of wax is coated with the carbon black 3 and/or the fine powder 4.
