PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable electrophotographic photoreceptor that does not cause an adverse effect such as partial crystallization during film formation, has high charge potential, has high sensitivity, exhibits sufficient light responsiveness, has excellent durability, prevents a reduction in those properties even when used in a low-temperature environment or in a high-speed process, and prevents a reduction in those properties even when exposed to light.SOLUTION: A photosensitive layer contains a dienamino biphenyl compound having a saturated ring structure represented by the general formula (I) as a charge transport material.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-reliability photoreceptor which aims at reducing environmental loads improving production stability in a photoreceptor manufacturing process and ensures little variation in sensitivity by environmental dependence, exhibits high responsiveness even in a low-temperature and low-humidity environment, is compact, has a high image forming speed, and provides a high-quality image even in an environment such as a low-temperature and low-humidity one, and to provide an image forming apparatus including the photoreceptor.SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor includes an intermediate layer between a conductive support and a photosensitive layer. The intermediate layer is a layer formed through heat curing from a coating liquid for an intermediate layer comprising a blocked isocyanate compound, a resin having an active hydrogen-containing group for reacting with an isocyanate group in the blocked isocyanate compound, and an aqueous medium. The photosensitive layer is a single layer type photosensitive layer containing a charge generating material and a charge transport material, or a laminate type photosensitive layer formed by stacking a charge generating layer containing a charge generating material and a charge transport layer containing a charge transport material in this order or in the converse order, wherein the charge transport material is a triphenylamine-diene or triene compound into which a cyclic saturated structure has been introduced.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable electrophotographic photosensitive member reducing a load in environment in a photosensitive member manufacturing process, achieving high stability in production, preventing the occurrence of fluctuation of sensitivity depending on environment, and providing a high quality image without defect in image such as memory image, and also to provide an image forming device equipped with it. SOLUTION: In this electrophotographic photosensitive member, an intermediate layer is provided between an electrical conductive support body and a photosensitive layer and is formed after it is heat hardened from a coating liquid for the intermediate layer including a block isocyanate compound, a resin having two groups containing active hydrogen reacting with isocyanate group in the block isocyanate compound or more, inorganic oxide particulates, and an aqueous medium. The photosensitive layer is a monolayer photosensitive layer containing at least an electric charge generating substance and an electric charge transport substance or a laminated photosensitive layer constituted by laminating an electric charge generating layer containing the electric charge generating substance and an electric charge transport layer containing the electric charge transport substance in this order or in the reverse order.
