Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition which exhibits excellent grease performance and is excellent in resistance to high temperature, load resistance, mechanical stability and flame retardancy. SOLUTION: Fluorinated calcium phosphate is added to a base oil of mineral oil and/or synthetic oil to impart a thickening effect to the base oil. The fluorinated calcium phosphate of about 1-60 mass% of the total mass of the lubricant composition is used. The lubricant composition thus obtained has grease performance and excellent extreme pressure properties and mechanical stability, can perform a satisfactorily lubricating function even under a high-temperature condition and is excellent even in flame retardancy. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition which is improved in a thickening property even in the case of low content. SOLUTION: The lubricant composition is obtained by incorporating tribasic calcium phosphate of spherical particles in a liquid lubricant. It is preferable the tribasic calcium phosphate has ≤3 μm particle size. The tribasic calcium phosphate is incorporated by 0.5-60 wt.% of the whole lubricant composition. The lubricant composition effectively gives the property for thickening at the low content of the tribasic calcium phosphate. The lubricant composition is excellent in wear resistance and heat resistance and hardly exerts a bad influence on rubber or resins and further on ecology. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high performance lubricant composition excellent in heat resistance, mechanical stability, water resistance, corrosion resistance, load resistance and flame retardancy. SOLUTION: The lubricant composition which has a stable grease structure and is kept in a semi-solid state is produced by adding to a mineral oil and/or a synthetic oil as a base oil a tricalcium phosphate in an amount of 1-70 mass% based on the total composition and further adding thereto a stabilizer for a grease structure comprising one of an organic acid derivative, an organic amine derivative, a sulfurized fatty acid derivative, a salt of a dibasic acid, a naphthenate and a surfactant or a combination thereof in an amount of 0.1-18 mass% based on the total composition. The resultant lubricant composition can improve load resistance and wear resistance and can maintain its grease state even when water is mixed into the lubricant composition. Additionally, the performance with respect to the lifetime of a bearing at a high temperature, a friction coefficient, wear resistance and the like can be much improved by using the lubricant composition in combination with other grease thickener. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grease composition which is excellent in the low friction coefficient and abrasion resistant property, and is environmentally friendly. SOLUTION: The grease composition is produced by adding of (A) 0.1-5 wt.% of wolfram disulfide and (B) 0.1-5 wt.% of zinc dithiophosphate and/or molybdenum dialkyldithiocarbamate to a grease containing 1-25 wt.% of a urea compound, or optionally further adding (C) 0.1-5 wt.% of molybdenum dithiophosphate. A grease composition being excellent in low friction coefficient and abrasion-resistant property, and also enviromentally friendly can be produced without using or using a relatively small amount of a molybdenum compound, which is subject to PRTR. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a urea grease composition which has a good consistency yield and a little separating oil at elevated temperatures and also is excellent in the sound performance, friction characteristics and abrasion characteristics, by using a usual grease manufacturing plant without having facilities such as a special kneading apparatus for dispersing a thickener and a high pressure vessel. SOLUTION: The urea grease composition contains, on the basis of a mineral oil, a synthetic oil or a mixed oil thereof, 2-30% by weight of any compound of (1) such a mixture consisting of a compound (a) and a compound (b) as containing the compound (a) of 80-20% by mole relative to the compound (a) and the compound (b), (2) a mixture of the mixture (1) admixed with a compound (c), and (3) the compound (c) only. SOLUTION: The lubricant composition having excellent heat resistance and wear resistance is obtained by incorporating fluorinated calcium phosphate in a lubricant and a semisolid lubricating agent. The fluorinated calcium phosphate of around 0.5-60 mass% of the total mass of the lubricant composition is used. The lubricant composition containing the fluorinated calcium phosphate is excellent in heat resistance, keeps a grease state and a lubricating effect even at high temperature and is excellent even in wear resistance. Furthermore, since the fluorinated calcium phosphate hardly exerts a bad influence on a living body, the lubricant composition can be used in a wide range as a safer lubricant composition. (2) Further, in the grease composition described in (1), 0.1-5 wt.% of (B) a benzotriazole is blended based on the total composition. (3) In the grease composition described (1) or (2), a thickener is at least one sort chosen from a urea based compound, a lithium soap, a lithium compound soap, and an aluminum compound soap.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition excellent in high temperature stability with less evaporation amount even at an elevated temperature. SOLUTION: This lubricant composition with heat stability comprises a lubricant, calcium phosphate and an additive having an anti-oxidant action. The same lubricant composition with heat stability can also be obtained when combined with another thickener. It is preferred that the content of the calcium phosphate is 1-70 mass%, and the content of the additive having an anti-oxidant action is 0.1-10 mass%. When combined with another thickener, the thickener is preferably used in a range of 0.5-20 mass%.
