PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil device in which, even if a core includes split core pieces, each of split core pieces can be surely held and further, heat dissipation is improved.SOLUTION: A core includes split core pieces which are separated along a first axis direction among a first axis, a second axis and a third axis which are vertical to one another. A spring member is attached to a case for pressing the split core pieces downwards into the case along the third axis. In the spring member, a slit is formed along a second axis direction, a first presser and a second presser are formed and in the first presser and the second presser, elastic folded parts in contact with the split core pieces are formed while being dislocated along the second axis direction.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer that securely ensures insulation between a plurality of secondary windings that can be automatically wound by a machine and have mutually individual independent outputs. SOLUTION: A bobbin has an inward cylindrical portion which is made of insulating resin in a nearly cylindrical shape and has terminal blocks at both axial ends thereof, and an outward cylindrical portion 31 which is made of insulating resin and externally covers the inward cylindrical portion. The outward cylindrical portion 31 is in such a half-cut shape cut with division planes 31-1A and 31-2A which are parallel with an inward mounting substrate opposite surface and an inward mounting substrate anti-opposite surface of the inward cylindrical portion and extend almost in directions wherein respective adjacent sections are connected. The division planes 31-1A and 31-2A are in a rectangular wave shape, more specifically, in a zigzag shape to be in a staircase shape at positions of respective partition walls. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lateral low-profile coil part and a soldering method of its winding terminal with which soldering workability of a winding terminal such as a large-diameter litz wire can be improved and alloying (adhesion of wetted solder on metal surface of a winding terminal) of the solder and the winding terminal can be surely achieved. SOLUTION: The coil part has a configuration in which a metal fixture 1 with a terminal including a caulking portion 2, a terminal 3 and a coupling portion 4 is provided, an insertion hole 16 for inserting the terminal 3 is formed on a terminal base 14A on a bobbin provided with a wiring, the terminal 3 is inserted from the upper portion into the insertion hole 16 to expose the coupling portion 4, the terminal 3 protrudes from the bottom surface of the terminal base, and the winding terminal is inserted into the caulking portion 2 through a groove of the bottom surface of the terminal base for caulking, and the winding terminal is soldered from an end side of the winding terminal. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil device having an excellent heat radiation property even if disposed in a narrow space, decreasing variations of a temperature distribution, and capable of showing stable coil characteristics.SOLUTION: In a coil device 10, winding shafts of coils 20 and 30 are disposed so as to intersect main surfaces of base portions 13a and 13b. One main surface of a pair of the base portions 13a and 13b is attached to an attachment substrate 70, and on the main surface of the other base portion 13b, a part of a tape-shaped member 100 having higher thermal conductivity than a core 12 is installed so as to transfer heat. At least one end of the tape-shaped member 100 is attached to the attachment substrate 70 so as to transfer heat, through clearances between bobbins 40, 50, and 60 and core leg members 16a, 18a, 16b, and 18b.

SOLUTION: The coil component includes a core cover 4 which houses a core 3 and forms a substantially annular body, a first and a second conductor wound around the core cover 4 to form coils, and a base portion 2 having a pair of terminal bases 21, 21 to which ends of the first and second conductors are coupled and a coupling portion 25 connecting the pair of terminal bases 21, 21 to each other, and mounted with the core cover 4. The core cover 4 is provided with a pair of conductor partition portions 42 each constituted including a lower lib portion 42A protruding downward from a reverse surface 41A and extending radially, wherein the lower lib part 42A has a lower groove 42a formed extending radially so that the coupling portion 25 engages it, a lower end edge of the coupling portion 25 forms a lower end portion of the base portion 2 to be positioned substantially in the same plane with a lower end portion of the lower lib portion 42A, and an upper end edge of the coupling portion 25 is housed in the lower groove 42a to engage the core cover 4, the vertical distance of the coupling portion 25 being substantially equal to the depth of the lower groove 42a. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrite core for easily discriminating the directions of a center leg or an outer leg in the assembly process of a transformer using a ferrite core where the cross-sectional shapes of the center leg or the outer leg are asymmetrically formed, and for achieving the improvement of working efficiency or the prevention of seal failure. SOLUTION: A cross-sectional shape perpendicular to the protruding direction of at least either a center leg 4 and an outer leg 3 is formed as an asymmetrical shape having only one symmetrical division line by which two divided regions are made symmetric. At least either an end face 2a or a side face at the opposite side of the protruding faces of the center leg 4 and the outer leg 3 of a core 1 is provided with a recess 17 showing the direction of the cross-section which is perpendicular to the array direction of the center leg 4 and the outer leg 3. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrite core in which magnetic flux does not partially concentrate, and its characteristic does not deteriorate even if the interval between ends on one side of an outer foot of the core is structured to be larger than that between ends on the other side of the outer foot, which can be downsized, and can facilitate the maintenance of insulation between wiring ends and the outer feet; and to provide a transformer using the same. SOLUTION: Assuming that the direction in which two outer feet 3 which form a pair when viewed from the front end side of the outer foot 3 and a middle foot 4, face each other is set as an X axis direction, and the direction that forms a right angle with the X axis is set as a Y axis direction; the widths W1 and W2 of the middle foot 4 in the X axis direction differ at each point that is equally distant in the normal and negative direction. Thus, the middle foot 4 is asymmetrical with respect to the center of the Y axis direction as an origin point O. The interval G2 between ends on the side of the outer foot 3 which faces the larger width of the middle foot 4 in the X axis direction is configured to be larger than the interval G1 between ends on the other side of the outer foot 3. A heat radiation sheet 15 is interposed in at least part of an interface between the split surfaces 12b, 12b, and the middle leg 14 separated via the heat radiation sheet 15 is inserted in a through hole 44a of a bobbin 40.
