PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of accurately recognizing a change of shape appearing in a surface of a workpiece in transportation and capable of preventing a positional displacement between an assembling device provided inside an assembly line and the workpiece. SOLUTION: A system for recognizing the shape of a workpiece comprises a limit switch 30 provided along a transportation route 8 of a vehicle 3 so as to detect the reference position Z of the vehicle 3, a rotary encoder 40 provided along the transportation route 8 of a vehicle 3 so as to detect the movement quantity L from the reference position Z of the vehicle 3, a laser displacement meter 50 provided along the transportation route 8 of the vehicle 3 so as to detect a straight distance H between the surfaces of the vehicle 3(mainly the roof surface 3a and other surfaces), and a recognizing device 60 for recognizing a change of the shape in the surface of the vehicle 3 in a direction parallel with the transporting direction based on two detection values detected by the rotary encoder 40 and the laser displacement meter 50. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in conventional workpiece conveyance devices in which driving wheels of a travel cart always need to travel in such a state as to abut against a travelling rail at a high ground contact pressure so that the driving wheels are rotationally driven at a high output by a high-torque motor to cause the drive unit for the driving wheels to be upsized and heavily increased in weight. SOLUTION: This work conveying device 1 includes: a gripping tool 20 for gripping a rear window 5; a supporting arm 10 for movably supporting the gripping tool 20 in three dimensions; the travel cart 40 which can travel along the travelling rail and supports the supporting arm 10; and a control unit 80 for controlling the operation of the supporting arm 10 and the travel cart 40. Further, the workpiece conveying device 1 conveys the rear window 5 gripped by the gripping tool 20 up to a window frame 7a mounted with the rear window 5 by the supporting arm 10 to be mounted on the window frame 7a. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking aid device capable of changing the neutral position of a foot brace corresponding to the state of a walking surface. SOLUTION: The walking aid device 100 has a lower thigh brace 12, the foot brace 14 and an actuator 20. The lower thigh brace 12 is attached to the lower thigh of a user, and the foot brace 14 is attached to the foot of the user. The foot brace 14 is connected to the lower thigh brace 12 so as to be swung and an elastic member 30 for supplying restoration force to swing is connected between the lower thigh brace 12 and the foot brace 14. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece conveyance device and a workpiece placing method capable of pressing the periphery of a workpiece against an object to be placed with a uniform force. SOLUTION: This workpiece conveyance device 1 grips rear glass 5 with a gripping tool 20 and conveys the gripped rear glass 5 up to a window frame 7a of a vehicle body 7 by the operation of a supporting arm 10 to be pressed against and placed on the window frame 7a. Each suction pad 30 of the gripping tool 20 is provided with a force detection sensor 31 detectable for force applied to the suction pad 30. When the rear glass 5 is placed on the window frame 7a, a control device 80 of the workpiece conveyance device 1 controls the operation of the supporting arm 10 based on the magnitude of the detected value 31 by the force detection sensor of the suction pad 30. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking aid device capable of adding assisting force to only one of dorsiflexion and plantar flexion without generating the assisting force to the other. SOLUTION: The walking aid device has a spring unit which supplies force in a direction opposite to a swing direction to a swung foot brace. The spring unit has a first member, a second member and a compression spring, and the second member is freely slidably attached to the first member. The compression spring is disposed at the overlapping part of the first member and the second member, and the compression spring is energized in the direction of pulling the second member into the first member. The first member is provided with a regulation part for regulating the extendable length of the spring to a prescribed length shorter than a natural length. That is, when the spring is compressed to the extendable length or shorter, the compression spring generates restoration force in the direction of pulling the second member into the first member. SOLUTION: The walking aid device is provided with a waist part fitting member 3 fitted to a waste part of a user 2 and a thigh frame 4 rotatably joined to the waist part fitting member 3 in the horizontal direction and the back and forth direction of the user 2. The thigh frame 4 is provided with an upper side split piece 10 and a lower side split piece 11, and the upper side split piece 10 and the lower side split piece 11 are joined by a mechanism 12 which allows the split pieces to rotate in the peripheral direction of the thigh part of the user 2.
