SOLUTION: The cap for the skin puncturing device comprises a fixing clamp and a ring-like cap body. The fixing clamp is equipped with a proximal end constituted so as to engage with the skin puncturing device, a distal end having a cap body engaging mechanism and an opening portion. The ring-like cap body has a distal compressing surface; the opening portion is hemmed, to be firmly and rotatably engaged with the cap body engaging mechanism. When a force is applied to the distal compressing surface during the use of the cap, the ring-like cap body rotates while firmly engaged with the fixing clamp (inwardly with respect to the opening portion, for example).
