Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cooling water from overflowing and being discharged from around the periphery of a shank and to make the easy recovery of the cooling water from the inside of a bore hole possible. SOLUTION: A non-core type bit 16 for drilling integrally providing with a chip 14 for cutting at the tip of the shank comprises a water supply channel 22 for supplying the cooling water to the and a drain channel 26 for discharging the cooling water in the bore hole 24 drilled by the chip as a through hole with an aperture at the tip in the axis direction in the shank 12. It makes possible to supply the cooling water from a cooling water supply source 54 connected with a water supply port 28 of a swivel 32 to the chip 14 via the water supply channel of the shank and to forcibly discharge the cooling water in the bore hole 24 to the outside through the drain hole 26 of the shank by the suction of the discharging means 56. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining device capable of injecting good-quality mist air. SOLUTION: The machining device 1 includes a body 2, a ram 3, an advancing-retreating mechanism 6 for advancing-retreating the ram 3, a tool T, a gripping means 5 for integrally advancing-retreating with the ram 3 by gripping the tool T, a main spindle motor M for rotating the gripping means 5 and a mist air supply part 10 for supplying the mist air of mixing cutting oil and air to the tool T, and machines a workpiece while supplying the mist air. The tool T has a through-hole for sending the mist air to a blade part. The gripping means 5 has a collet 51 for gripping the tool T and a collet holder 52 having an inner cylinder part 52a for inserting the collect 51 and forming a through-hole 52d for introducing the mist air from a mist air supply part 10 over an outer peripheral part from the inner cylinder part 52a. The inner cylinder part 52a is internally fitted with a flow passage guide plug 55 having a mist air supply passage 55a formed toward the through-hole Tc of the tool T from the inside opening end 52f of the through-hole 52d.
