Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium conveyance apparatus, an image forming apparatus and a medium conveyance method, capable of restraining floating of a medium, by eliminating strain when conveying the medium of a processing object.SOLUTION: A recording medium (14) of sandwiching a tip part by a gripper (80) is sucked and fixed to a peripheral surface of a plotting cylinder after being pressed to the peripheral surface of the plotting cylinder (44) by a paper presser roller (46). When the recording medium is sucked and fixed, sandwiching by the gripper is temporarily released, and the strain caused in the recording medium is eliminated. Afterwards, before a tip part of the recording medium enters a detecting area of a paper floating detecting sensor (126), the temporarily opened gripper starts to close, and the tip part of the recording medium is sandwiched again by the gripper until the tip of the recording medium slips out of the detecting area of the paper floating detecting sensor.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium fixing device and an image forming device of applying the same, capable of effectively restraining turning-over and floating of a recording medium, by stably fixing and holding the recording medium of various kinds and sizes. SOLUTION: This medium fixing device has a tip suction groove for sucking a tip area of a sheet-like medium. The tip suction groove is divided in the drum axis direction, and communicates with a tip drum groove in the drum axis direction via an orifice part with every divided area. By dividing the tip suction groove in response to a width to the recording medium, large and small recording media can be surely fixed. When having the tip suction groove on both of the tip side and the central side of the tip drum groove, flow passage resistance of the orifice part on the tip side is reduced more than the orifice part on the central side, so that a much flow rate is supplied by the tip suction groove on the tip side, and the tip area can be further strongly sucked. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and an image forming method which can reduce the irregularity of an image. SOLUTION: On recording paper 12, a processing liquid is supplied to the surface of the recording paper at a processing liquid supplying part while it is sucked and conveyed by a suction drum 110, and thereafter, ink droplets are delivered on the surface at a color ink supplying part while it is sucked and conveyed by a suction drum 310 to form an image. In this case, the recording paper 12 is sucked and conveyed by sucking different sites by the suction drum at the processing liquid supplying part and the color ink supplying part. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wipe an ink delivering face without unevenness by a simple mechanism. SOLUTION: A drum 21 conveys a paper held on the outer peripheral face 21a. Four inkjet heads 2 are arranged in the conveying direction of the paper P so as to making the normal directions of an ink delivering faces 2a coincide with the normal direction of the outer peripheral face 21a. A head moving mechanism moves the inkjet heads 2 in the normal directions under a condition that distances from the ink delivering faces 2a to the outer peripheral face 21a are the same on all the inkjet heads 2. The ink delivering faces 2a are wiped by moving a wiping member 63 along the outer peripheral face 21a while the wiping member 63 is brought into contact with the ink delivering faces 2a of the inkjet heads 2.
