SOLUTION: The conveying element 1 comprises an elastic conveying member 4 which is wound about at least the first rotary shaft 2 and a second rotary shaft 3 and is endlessly rotated by driving of the first rotary shaft 2, and is characterized by a transmission means 5 transmitting the driving of the first rotary shaft 2 to the second rotary shaft 3 so that the first rotary shaft 2 and the second rotary shaft 3 are synchronized with each other. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a lateral sag while greatly slenderizing an unprinted slender section of a printing material sheet. SOLUTION: A sheet ejector of a sheet printing machine includes a sheet braking device, and the sheet braking device includes three braking modules. Each of the braking modules has two parallel belts 11 and 12, and a front roll 16 and a rear-side roll 15, which guide the belts 11 and 12 of both the outside braking modules, are offset. Thus, the belts 11 and 12 make torsional motions 19b. The belts 11 and 12 are each twisted outward in both side parts of the printing material sheet, and both side ends of the printing material sheet guided by the belts are each pulled outward, so that the lateral sag can be eliminated. A positioning assembly is provided with an endless loop conveyor belt for transporting an object and a first and second roller (12) arranged inside the endless loop. A first mounting part connected to a first end of the first roller (12) and a second mounting part connected to a second end of the first roller (12) are independently movable in a length direction of the conveyor with respect to the frame (15). An actuator system is provided which includes a first lateral actuator (61) arranged to move at least a part of the first roller (12) in a direction parallel to the rotational axes (106) of the first roller (12). The first roller (12) is longitudinally divided into at least two longitudinal segments. The first lateral actuator (61) moves at least one of the longitudinal segments parallel to the rotational axis (106) of the first roller (12).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet separating and feeding device which keeps a separation amount between an endless belt and paper constant, while varying the height of a stack part in accordance with stiffness of sheet material.SOLUTION: The sheet separating and feeding device includes: a bottom plate 7 on which a plurality of sheet materials 1 can be stacked; a control means that controls elevating and lowering of the bottom plate 7; and an attracting and separating unit 15 that attracts and holds the uppermost sheet material 1a out of the plurality of sheets 1 stacked on the bottom plate 7 by the endless belt 2 made of dielectric. Out of a plurality of holding rollers 5 and 6 holding the endless belt 2, the holding roller 6 located on an upstream side in a sheet 1 feeding direction takes a shaft 5a of the holding roller 5 located on a downstream side as an axis of rotation, and rotates with movement of the endless belt 2 by rotation of the holding roller 5 located on the downstream side. The sheet separating and feeding device includes a stopper 16 that adjusts moving width in a height direction of the holding roller 6 located on the upstream side. Then, elevating and lowering operation is regulated and controlled by an amount equivalent to dimension S of a slot 16a of the stopper 16.
