摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely form a holding-back space in a device for holding back while a sheet is conveyed.
SOLUTION: This holding-back device includes: a sheet conveying part 15 for conveying the sheet W in a reverse overlapped state in which the downstream side of the sheet in the conveying direction is positioned on the lower side and the upstream side thereof in the conveying direction is positioned on the upper side; a holding-back starting part 16 for projecting a stopper 22 locked to the downstream side front end of the sheet W from the conveying surface of the sheet conveying part 15 or recessing the stopper from the conveying surface; and a subsequent sheet straightening part 17 which is installed on the upstream side of the holding-back starting part 16 and raises a sheet support base 35 to the upper side of the conveying surface of the sheet conveying part 15 or lowers the sheet support base to the lower side thereof.
