PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the turbulence of an aligning characteristic of sheets which may be generated when ejecting a sheet bundle constituted of a plurality of succeeding sheets on a preceding sheet.SOLUTION: An already preceding sheet is occasionally stacked on a stacking tray 700. When the sheet bundle constituted of a sheet N and a sheet N-1 is ejected to the already stacked sheet, the already stacked sheet is pushed out by the tip of the succeeding sheet. Then, a bundle pressing member 690 presses the already stacked sheet in timing for ejecting a succeeding sheet bundle so that the already stacked sheet is hardly pushed out. That is, the turbulence of an aligning characteristic of the sheets which may be generated when ejecting the sheet bundle on the already stacked sheet is reduced by adopting the bundle pressing member 690.

The paper sheet handling apparatus includes: a validator configured to validate each of paper sheets; a conveyor assembly arranged to convey the paper sheets in the paper sheet handling apparatus; a controller configured to control components of the paper sheet handling apparatus; and a storage unit arranged to store information on the paper sheets, wherein the controller controls the validator to determine a volume of each of the paper sheets passing through the validator in a first conveyance and store volume data of the paper sheet in correlation to a paper sheet conveying order in the first conveyance into the storage unit, wherein the first conveyance represents that the paper sheets conveyed by the conveyor assembly pass through the validator first time, and the controller controls the validator to determine a volume of a certain paper sheet passing through the validator in a second conveyance and comparing volume data of the certain paper sheet in the second conveyance with volume data of a corresponding paper sheet in the first conveyance, which is expected to be identical with the certain paper sheet based on the paper sheet conveying order, so as to verify consistency of number of paper sheets conveyed in the first conveyance with number of paper sheets conveyed in the second conveyance, wherein the second conveyance represents that the paper sheets conveyed by the conveyor assembly pass through the validator second time.

Specifically, in a case where a test page print job is input, a CPU selects a sheet feeding tray on which sheets having a characteristic value within a range of a characteristic value represented by characteristic value range information. The CPU performs a control operation so that a sheet is fed from the selected sheet feeding tray to a printer unit and the printer unit executes the test page print job.

A system for creating and dispensing cushioning dunnage is small and permits flexible installation configuration options for a single or multiple packing stations. A compact apparatus of the system is capable of being pivotally mounted as a unit on a stand and includes a motor and a material feeding arrangement driven by the motor for pulling material from a supply roll of the material supported on a stand of the system, and feeding it through the apparatus. A plurality of material shaping members upstream of the feeding arrangement shape the material in the apparatus to convert it into a continuous strip of cushioning product. The feeding arrangement in one embodiment includes cooperating feed rollers, at least one of which is a rotary cutting die having a plurality of cutting blades on its surface for cutting slits in the material at spaced locations along the length of the material to allow an operator to manually rip a desired length of cushioning product from the material being dispensed from the apparatus.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a postprocessing device capable of surely performing registration in a stack part, by stabilizing a dislocation quantity of paper regardless of kind of paper, when sending two papers into the slantingly arranged stack part in a dislocated state.
