PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brain activity measuring device capable of strictly guaranteeing reproducibility of measurement in measurement by a functional nuclear magnetic resonance image method to be performed for a plurality of times.SOLUTION: In an MRI device 10, a data processing part 32 determines rigid body transformation between an original tomographic image and a pilot tomographic image so as to maximize mutual information between the original tomographic image captured by past measurement and stored in a storage part 36 and the pilot tomographic image captured by current capturing processing, and corrects a position and a direction of a slice image of the tomographic image in the current capturing processing, based on the determined rigid body transformation parameters.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging system and a magnetic resonance imaging method, for restoring high-resolution image data while shortening a photographing time.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging method comprises the steps of: applying an RF (Radio Frequency) pulse including a plurality of frequency components and a selection gradient to a photographic subject such that a plurality of sub volumes respectively included in at least two groups grouped such that adjacent sub volumes of a plurality of sub volumes constituting a volume of the photographic volume belong to groups different from each other are simultaneously excited, and performing three-dimensional encoding to each of the excited sub volumes; acquiring magnetic resonance signals from the plurality of sub volumes; and restoring each of the acquired magnetic resonance signals to image data corresponding to each of the plurality of sub volumes.
