Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a woody fiberboard which comprises carrying out hot pressing molding of a laminate of a fiber-mat/release-layer/fiber-mat structure and dividing the laminate into woody fiberboards along the release layer in the thickness direction to obtain two woody fiberboards at the same time and provides a woody fiberboard having surface smoothness by improving the finish of the division surface. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method comprises forming the first fiber mat layer 1 and removing fiber-originated irregularities of the surface for smoothing, forming a granular mat layer 4, forming the second mat layer 5 on the granular mat layer 4 and removing fiber-originated irregularities of the surface for smoothing, carrying out hot pressing molding of the mat laminates by a pressing apparatus to obtain a woody fiber laminated plate consisting of the first fiber layer formed by hardening the first fiber mat layer, a division layer formed by compressing the granular mat layer and the second fiber layer formed by hardening the second fiber mat layer and dividing the woody fiber laminated plate along the division layer to obtain the first woody fiber plate consisting of the first fiber layer and the second woody fiber plate consisting of the second fiber layer. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a woody composite material excellent in productivity using a tannic adhesive without producing a harmful volatile substance. SOLUTION: A woody molding material and a binder containing a tannic adhesive prepared by mixing a catalyst for accelerating the selfcuring of tannin with tannin are mixed to prepare an intimate mixture and this intimate mixture is laminated to form a woody laminated mat. High temperature steam is penetrated into the woody laminated mat and this woody laminated mat is heated and pressurized to cure the binder. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of effectively mass-producing a thick fiberboard having a gradient function as a replacement material of timber. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the fiberboard for manufacturing the fiberboard as the replacement material of the timber by mixing recovered fiber and a thermoplastic resin melted at a temperature lower than a melting point or a thermal deterioration temperature of the recovered fiber to form a mat and heat-pressing it comprises a preliminarily heating process (a step S110) of heating each of a plurality of the mats to melt the thermoplastic resin, a lamination process (a step S120) of stacking the mats each containing the molten resin while transferring the mats to produce a laminated mat, and a pressing process (a step S130) of continuously pressing the laminated mats.
