CONSTITUTION: A seismic retrofit system for a rigid frame structure comprises a pair of reinforcing columns(20), a side plate(10), a reinforcing beam(50), and brackets(60). The reinforcing columns are installed on a pair of columns(1a, 1b). The side plate is welded to one surface of a beam(2) in a longitudinal direction. The reinforcing beam composed of an H-beam(30) and a T-beam(40) is arranged on the outer surface of the side plate in a longitudinal direction. The brackets securely connect and fix the ends of the reinforcing beam to the reinforcing columns.
