摘要: PURPOSE: A fire-resistant paint composition is provided to increase time to overcome a high temperature in fire due to excellent durability and fire retardancy, to ensure excellent foaming rate and high strength, and to prevent oxygen in air from being transferred inside the foaming expansion layer. CONSTITUTION: An aqueous and oil-based fire-resistant paint composition comprises resin, foaming agent, acid catalyst, carbide-forming agent, pigment, solvent and additive. The foaming agent comprises unfoamed vermiculite or unfoamed perlite or fine granule powder of the unfoamed graphite. The particle size of the unfoamed vermiculite or unfoamed perlite or fine granule powder of the unfoamed graphite is 10 micron - 1.9 mm.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for preparing an additive based on metal hydroxide and, in particular, magnesium hydroxide, to be integrated into coatings in order to provide same with improved fire retardant properties. The average particle sizes of the hydroxide are selected from between 1 nanometre and 10 micrometres, preferably with a very small variation. The magnesium hydroxide is subjected to a washing and dispersion treatment so that it disperses efficiently and does not interfere with the desirable properties of the coating. The materials and conditions used in the treatment and the particle size are selected according to the type of coating. The end coating can be based on water, solvents, oil and alcohol. Compared to coatings formulated with other fire retardant compounds, smaller weight losses due to burning have been demonstrated with the inventive additive in an ASTM D1360 standard test.

摘要: A method for manufacturing coating compositions is provided to employ thermoplastic rubber which does not generate dioxins in order to realize high elasticity, workability, and heat resistance with no dioxin. A method for manufacturing coating compositions comprises a 100 part of composition(A), a 100 part of composition(B), a 15-25 part of ethane-1,2-bis(pentabromophenyl) as a flame retardant, and a 5 part of 3-antimony trioxide by weight. The composition(A) is manufactured by mixing a 100 part of block copolymer having a polystyrene-b-poly(ethylene/butylene)-b-polystyrene structure, 0.1-0.3 part of vinylmethoxysilane, and a 0.01-0.02 part of dicumylperoxide by weight. The composition(B) is manufactured by mixing a 100 part of block copolymer having a polystyrene-b-poly(ethylene/butylene)-b-polystyrene structure, a 0.01 part of dibutyltin dilaurate, and a 1-3 part of antioxidant by weight.

A method for finishing a surface, such as a wall or floor, in a building comprises the steps of: mixing and agitating 30-45 vol% of wood chips, 30-45 vol% of serpentine powder or jade stone powder and 10-25 vol% of a water soluble adhesive; mixing water with the wood chips so that the wood chips are impregnated with water; applying the wood chips onto the surface(10), such as a wall or floor, in a building; and naturally drying the resultant finishing layer(20) to allow evaporation of the water from the wood chips.

摘要: Use of a basic coating composition for refractory materials in production of high-quality steel is provided to realize excellent workability on and removability from the interior materials for a tundish furnace, to collect and remove substance inserted in steel effectively, thereby improving the quality of molten steel. A basic coating composition for refractory materials in production of high-quality steel is used by: providing a composition by adding to a binder, cohesive agent, plasticizer and anti-spallation agent to 100 parts by weight of clinker obtained by kneading either or both of magnesia(MgO) and magnesite(MgCO6) with dolomite(MgCO6.CaCO6) and calcite(CaCO6) selected in such a manner that the molar ratio of magnesium oxide(MgO) to calcium oxide(CaO) is 9:1-1:9; coating the surface of an interior material for a tundish furnace with the composition; and heating the coated surface at 650-1000 deg.C for 1-2 hours for the use in casting.
