Abstract: PURPOSE: A base coat and clear coat coating is provided to improve staining resistance and to have controllable gloss. CONSTITUTION: A base coat and clear coat coating comprises a substrate comprises a substrate; a first coating having a higher pigment volume concentration than a critical pigment volume concentration arranged on the substrate; a second transparent matt coating which is arranged on the first coating and includes 1-99 weight% of a granular polymer with a particle diameter of 0.5-30 micron based on the weight of the second coating. The second coating additionally comprises 1-99 weight% of a film-forming emulsion polymer or polyurethane dispersion based on the total weight of the second coating.
