    Abstract: Disclosed is a nonaqueous electrolyte solution which is suppressed in decomposition as well as deterioration during use in a battery under high temperature conditions. This nonaqueous electrolyte solution enables to obtain a high-energy-density nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having high capacity, excellent storage characteristics and excellent cycle characteristics. Specifically, the nonaqueous electrolyte solution contains an electrolyte, a nonaqueous solvent and a compound represented by the following general formula (1). In the formula, R1, R2 and R3 respectively represent a hydrogen atom, a cyano group or a hydrocarbon group having 1-10 carbon atoms which may contain a halogen atom. In this connection, R1 and R2 are not hydrogen atoms at the same time.
