    Abstract: PURPOSE: A calcium fluoride optics with improved laser durability is provided to improve laser durability by suppressing the forming of a calcium colloid. CONSTITUTION: In a calcium fluoride optics with improved laser durability, an optics comprises a crystal material with doped the selected dopant to prevent colloid formation. The calcium fluoride optics has a loss rate of permeability of 515/380 nm which is less than 0.3. The selected colloid protecting dopant is selected from a group consisting of Mg, Sr and Ba.
