Abstract: 본 발명은 광역 역광 보정 시에, 노출시간이 상대적으로 짧은 영상으로부터 엣지 정보를 추출하여 영상의 선명도를 향상시키고, 노출시간이 긴 영상 및 융합된 영상의 차이를 이용하여 명부를 밝기를 조절함으로써 콘트라스트가 향상된 영상을 획득할 수 있는 광역 역광 보정 장치에 관한 것이다. 광역 역광 보정 장치는 제1 노출시간을 갖는 영상으로부터 추출된 엣지 정보와, 제1 및 제2 노출시간을 갖는 영상의 휘도 융합 결과와, 제2 노출시간을 갖는 영상 및 상기 휘도 융합된 제1 및 제2 영상으로부터 추출된 밝기 차이 정보를 합성한 영상을 출력하는 것이 바람직하다.
