CONSTITUTION: A variable filtering apparatus(20) comprises a filter tank(22), a filtering unit(30), a winding unit(50), filter medium(10), and a washing unit. A winding unit has a roller(52) arranged to correspond to the chamber(32) of the filtering unit in the cavity(21) of the filter tank. The filter medium has one end combined with the chamber of the filtering unit and the other end combined with the roller of the winding unit, whereby the medium is wound or release around the chamber by the rotation of the chamber and the roller wherein the medium is wound around the roller with a fixed length. The washing unit is installed in between the chamber of the filtering unit and the roller of the winding chamber to be near the medium, wherein back washing water supplied from the outside is supplied onto the medium, whereby the backwashing number supplied from the outside is sprayed onto the filter medium. The filter medium comprises the weft(12) formed with a fixed length in a longitudinal direction and a slope fixed by being bounding with the weft(14). The slope is arranged with multiple yarn fiber on the position with a fixed distance in the longitudinal direction of the weft to be combined with the weft, whereby the weft is movable by the back washing water sprayed from the medium.
