    摘要: A patterned wood useable as a constructional material for building interior or furnitures and a process for manufacturing the same are provided by using cheap and easily available general wood to endow functions and effects equal to that of natural wood and to exhibit hologram-like variation of shade and three-dimensional effect. The patterned wood comprises a thick panel(100) of about 2mm thickness obtained slicing a material from general wood, uneven faces(100a,100b) positioned on both sides of the thick panel(100) and a thin panel(200) formed cutting the uneven faces(100a,100b) by 0.6-0.8mm thickness. The manufacturing process comprises slicing a general wood into 2mm thickness thick panel(100) after peeling up skin of the general wood; heating the thick panel in a high-pressure steam tank at 200 deg.C for 20 minutes; and passing the heated panel through a pair of fixed roller and moving roller immediately after heating. The rollers have uneven inner sides corresponding to the patterns of the wood.

    摘要: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing of wood for wood crafts is provided which maintains beautiful carving surface and neither deforms nor cracks articles of wood crafts so that characteristics of wood-carvings are manifested to the utmost, and enables delicate carving so that accessories as well as wood-carvings can be produced. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing of wood for wood crafts comprises first step of sawing the cut material wood into a square bar having about 3 to 5 cm of width and height and about 90 to 100 cm of length by cutting material wood such as jujube tree and Betula Schmidtii; drying the wood in the drying chamber at a temperature of 70 to 80 deg.C for 10 to 30 days until water content becomes 19 to 30% after putting the prepared wood into a drying chamber; heating and pressing the wood for 30 to 60 minutes in the press until wood is compressed to a half thickness of the original wood by applying a pressure of 20 to 250 kg/cm¬2 to wood as maintaining temperature of the hot plates as 130 deg.C after putting the dried wood into a space between hot plates of a press with a heater in which water and steam are alternately circulated; cooling the wood in the compressed state to an ordinary temperature for about 40 minutes by removing steam supplied to the hot plates and circulating cooling water through the hot plates after finishing heating and pressing; and cutting the cooled wood to a certain size and packing the wood for wood crafts cut to a certain size after taking out the cooled wood from the press.
