    摘要: Dual sided coating system and method for coating substrates, such as substrates useful as battery electrodes. In certain embodiments, the system includes an inline calender station positioned between the dryer and the rewind of the substrate; i.e., positioned downstream, in the direction of substrate (or web) travel, of the dryer, and upstream of the rewind. In certain embodiments, the calender operation is positioned immediately downstream of the dryer; no intermediate equipment that processes the substrata, such as a vacuum dryer, is positioned between the dryer and the calender. Advantages of such a system and method include twice the throughput compared to single side coating operations, a smaller equipment footprint compared to tandem coating lines, lower capital cost and operating cost compared to tandem coating lines, and fewer issues with wrinkles in the substrate.

    摘要: Cleaning air knife elements are assembled in a parallel orientation inside a housing enclosing the air knife assembly and in fluid communication with a compressed air source. In certain embodiments, the air knife elements are spaced apart a distance that orients the cleaning air knife discharge slots directly parallel and in line with the slots of the air nozzle or bar to be cleaned. Air discharging from the air knife discharge slots passes through the discharge slots of the air nozzle to be cleaned, dislodging dust and friable solid buildup from the air nozzle slots. Additionally, the cleaning air jet enters the air nozzle body, further dislodging dust and friable solids from the internal passages of the air nozzle inside the air nozzle body.

    摘要: A device for change-over switching of electric motors has a housing and two safety disconnecting switch systems positioned adjacently to one another in the housing. A cover is slidably connected to the housing so as to cover one of the safety disconnecting switch systems respectively. A fuse holder with fuses is detachably connected to the housing. Each one of the safety disconnecting switch systems has receiving elements for receiving the fuses. The safety disconnecting switch systems are electrically connected to one another such that upon insertion of the fuses into the receiving elements of one of safety disconnecting switch systems the electric motors rotate in one rotational direction and that upon insertion of the fuses into the receiving elements of the other one of the safety disconnecting switch systems the electric motors rotate in the other rotational direction. The fuse holder is detachably connected to the housing adjacent to the cover such that the cover covers one of the safety disconnecting switch systems and that the fuses are inserted into the other one of the safety disconnecting switch systems.
