摘要： Methods to rapidly identify nucleic acid sequences encoding novel biotoxins are provided. Particularly, methods to rapidly sample and screen extrachromosomal genetic content of microorganisms for novel sequences of interest are described. Compositions comprising coding sequences for biotoxins, and polypeptides and uses derived therefrom are provided. Compositions and methods are useful, for example, for conferring pesticidal activity to bacteria, plants, plant cells, tissues, and seeds.
