摘要： The invention provides an apparatus for manufacturing a cylindrical member comprising a cylindrical core body having an outer peripheral surface with a releasing property, the apparatus comprising: a film-forming device that forms a resin film in a region at a central portion from both ends in the axial direction of the outer peripheral surface of the core body; a judging device that judges the deterioration of the releasing property of regions continuous from the region where the resin film is to be formed in the region at the inner side from both ends in the axial direction of the outer peripheral surface of the core body, before the resin film is formed by the film-forming device; and a control device that controls the film-forming device such that the resin film is formed by exposing regions with an undeteriorated releasing property on both ends in the axial direction of the outer peripheral surface of the core body, in accordance with the results of judgment by the judging device.

摘要： The outer circumferential portions of the opposite ends of a cylindrical photosensitive body provided with a photosensitive layer on a substrate is supported while the photosensitive body is driven. The rotation of the photosensitive body is controlled by control members which are a roll member, a tracking roll, an electrification roll member or the like. The substrate may be shaped into a cylinder by rolling up a metal strip or a metal plate and TIG-welding a joint portion thereof.

摘要： When a metal strip continuously fed and made of stainless-steel, an aluminum alloy or a nickel alloy is bent followed by welding opposite ends of the metal strip to form a pipe and followed by grinding the pipe, the pipe is subjected to heat treatment after the pipe has been welded and before the pipe is ground. Annealing or normalizing adaptable to the type of the metal is selected as the heat treatment. As a result, work hardening can be relieved by the above processes. Moreover, generation of magnetism attributable to martensitic transformation generated in a portion, in which bending stress is concentrated, can be prevented. Thus, work hardening due to the bending operation during the process for forming the pipe can be relieved so that the following grinding operation is performed accurately. Therefore, generation of partial magnetism due to the bending operation can be prevented so that an excellent image can be formed.
