摘要： A data distribution system for a vehicle includes a data distributor module that is communicatively coupled with a data acquisition module that obtains values of available data parameters related to operation of the vehicle, a service module that provides functions for the vehicle based on the values, and a memory. The data distributor module receives a request list from the service module that includes one or more requested data parameters of the available data parameters. The data acquisition module stores the values of the requested data parameters in the memory. The data distributor module retrieves the values of one or more of the requested data parameters from the memory and communicates the values that are retrieved to the service module for the service module to use the values that are retrieved to provide the functions for the vehicle.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a dental hygiene appliance, a pad usable in such an appliance, and a method of using such an appliance. The dental hygiene appliance comprises a plurality of mushroom-shaped bristles, wherein the mushroom-shaped bristles comprise a material with Shore 00 hardness between about 50 and about 100. The mushroom-shaped bristles comprise a stipe, a pileus, and optionally a brim. The dental hygiene appliance may be a monolithic body, or comprises a monofacial pad, or bifacial pad, that is held by a dental hygiene appliance frame. The advantage of having a brim is that it offers a larger area for dental hygiene appliance to interact with the tooth surface, and the brim allows the brim to get into crevices of teeth that are too small for pileus to enter. The interstitial space between the mushroom-shaped bristles may also comprise a dentifrice composition.

The disclosed system may include a foot support unit which supports a patient's feet, where the foot support may have one or more leg grooves of a tapered height. The foot support may be placed in a patient's bed. Additionally hip support wedges may be placed beneath a patient's hip, where the hip supports provide the benefit of counteracting a leg's natural tendency to rotate outwards. The disclosed foot support and hip wedges promote proper alignment and in that way provide comfort and assist in recovery.
