摘要: An approach for directing a call to a matching service of a call destination is described. A call matching manager determines that a call is to be redirected from a first voice response unit based on service data about a service and caller data about a caller. The call matching manager also queries, during the call, one or more databases corresponding to a plurality of other services to identify a matching service based on the caller data. Still further, the call matching manager initiates transfer of the call for processing by a second voice response unit via out-of-band telephony signaling using a generated reference value.
