    摘要： A method and apparatus for removing sprouts from a Brussels sprouts stalk including rotating knife means defining a central opening through which the stalk of the plant is fed as the knife means cut off the sprouts. Each knife is spaced from the stalk by a stalk guide cutting through the semihard bark and riding on the hard woody shell of the stalk. The knives are held at an angle to the stalk axis to cut off the sprouts in a plane tangent to the sprouts and perpendicular to the centerline of the pedicel.
