摘要： A virtual weight value is set, and a dummy run mode is set and activated. Then, a zero point, reference value used to calculate the weight value of articles to be weighed in each weighing hopper, is corrected based on the virtual weight value. This enables a dummy run of a combination scale to be performed with the actually empty weighing hopper being assumed to contain the articles equivalent to the virtual weight value.

摘要： A method for filling bags with metered quantities of bulk products includes providing a first container and a second container having an assigned total volume. Each container is divided into two respective half-volumes, each half-volume being designed to feed product to a first station or a second station for filling bags, so that each container has a half-volume connected to the first station and a half-volume connected to the second station of the two stations. A first predefined metered quantity of product is provided inside the first container by dividing-up the metered quantity of product into two quantities equal to approximately half the metered quantity, each fed to a respective half-volume of the first container. A bag is conveyed to the first filling station. The bag is filled with the quantity of product of the first half volume of the first container.

摘要： A form-fill-seal machine is capable of reducing poor sealing caused by a packaged article catching in lateral seal portions. The form-fill-seal machine is provided with an upper tube, a lower tube disposed therebelow, a former, a lateral sealing mechanism below the lower tube, and opening and closing sliding members. A packaged article is dropped through the interiors of the upper tube and the lower tube. The former winds a sheet of a film F around the circumference of the lower tube to convert same into a tubular film. The lateral sealing mechanism laterally seals the tubular film. The opening and closing sliding members, which are disposed between the upper tube and the lower tube, shut off an upwardly oriented flow of gas from the interior of the lower tube when in a closed state.

Items to be packaged are supplied from an upper apparatus to the passage space. The first portion surrounds a first space. The first space is part of the passage space, where the items targeted to be packaged, readily become clogged. The moving member is configured to move into the first space and withdraw from the first space through the slit. The control unit causes the moving member to enter the first space after the items targeted to be packaged have passed through the first space.

摘要： A method for compacting a slug of product and apparatus for accomplishing the same. The invention describes collecting weighed product in an intermediate settling device to form a compact slug of product.
