Abstract:
Disclosed is an LCD apparatus including a receiving container for receiving a light guide plate and a lamp assembly, a first chassis for fixing the light guide plate and an LCD panel, and a second chassis for fixing the first chassis and the LCD panel. The receiving container and the first and second chassis are made of metal material so that the LCD apparatus may have reduced size and weight.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a flat panel display apparatus having fixing members each disposed between a display module and a case to combine the display module to the case. The fixing members prevent the display module from being moved in Z- and Y-directions using a body portion and a first guide portion facing each other and second guiding portions extended from the end portions of the body portion, respectively. Also, the fixing members prevent the display module from being moved in X-direction using a connecting portion that connects the body portion and the first guide portion.

Abstract:
In the packaging of an LCD module within a small and lightweight case, the case comprising a front case and a rear case, a recess with a predetermined depth, formed at the edge of the bottom side of the LCD module, is combined with a boss formed at the case, and a recess with a predetermined depth, formed at the edge of its surface, is fastened to a fastening means for securing the LCD module, thereby minimizing the difference between the areas of the LCD module and the case and further reducing the number of processes required for combining the LCD module with the case. In addition, the recess formed at the surface edge of the LCD module is combined with a fastening hook formed at the rear case so that the LCD module can be secured to the rear case and to the front case without any separate fastening member such as a stud or insert.
