Abstract:
A flat panel display apparatus comprises a flat panel display module; a control PCB placed in one rear edge area of the flat panel display module and having a conductive grounding part; and a grounding contact member including a rear contact part contacting the grounding part of the control PCB, and a side contact part bent from the rear contact part and contacting one edge of the flat panel display module, and grounding the control PCB. With this configuration, the present invention provides a flat panel display apparatus in which a control PCB having the length shorter than the width of a flat panel display module is easily grounded and the production cost thereof is decreased.

Abstract:
A lamp fixing member includes a first body part and a second body part. The first body part includes at least one first lamp fixing portion disposed on an upper surface of the first body part. The second body part is slidably combined with the first body part. The second body part includes a second lamp fixing portion being combined with the first lamp fixing portion and defining a space through which a lamp is inserted to be fixed.

Abstract:
An LCD device has scratch-resistant property without using a protection sheet and can provide enhanced brightness. The LCD device includes a light path regulating member. The member includes a first prism sheet having first prisms of which apex has a round shape. The first prism sheet concentrates light supplied from a lamp to output the concentrated light. An anti-glare polarizing plate uniformly polarizes polarized planes of the concentrated light and provides the polarized light to the lower substrate. The anti-glare polarizing plate is arranged below the lower substrate of an LCD panel, and an uppermost prism sheet of optical sheets is non-matte-treated and has round-treated apexes. In spite of the absence of the protection sheet, the scratch-resistant property of the uppermost prism sheet and the brightness of the LCD panel may be enhanced.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and a device for guiding light, and a back light assembly and a liquid crystal display device having the device for guiding light for reducing a bright line appearing in a liquid crystal display panel. When the ridge of the prism light guide plate, which is disposed adjacent to the light incident face is formed round; when a shape of the lamp cover is transformed to cover an upper edge portion of the light guide plate; when the light-shielding member is attached on a region of the light luminance control member, that is disposed adjacent to the light incident face of the light guide plate; and when the light incident face of the light guide plate is disposed as far from a border of an active display region as possible, the bright line is reduced.
