摘要： It is disclosed that novel polypeptides which has enhanced expression levels in the synovial tissues of human chronic rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients compared with the synovial tissues of human osteoarthritis (OA) patients, polynucleotides encoding the polypeptides, vectors comprising the polynucleotides, transformant cells comprising the vectors and an antibody against the polypeptide. It is also disclosed that polynucleotides specifically hybridizing with the polynucleotides and having at least 15 nucleotides, a detection method which is useful for RA diagnosis, and a detection kit which is useful for RA diagnosis.

摘要： A power converter apparatus has a solid-state switching device 11 for cutting off a current flowing from a DC power supply 1 to a bridge circuit 2 when reverse-biasing thyristors in the bridge circuit 2, and an inductance element 12 and an auxiliary solid-state switching device 13 connected in series between positive and negative DC lines interconnecting the DC power supply 1 and the bridge circuit 2 through the solid-state switching device 11. A magnetic energy is stored in the inductance element 12 during an interval of time in which the solid-state switching device 11 and the auxiliary solid-state switching device 13 are rendered conductive. The magnetic energy is discharged to reverse-bias the thyristors.

摘要： A synchronous machine drive apparatus is provided with a first exciting winding or windings having a first axis and second exciting windings having a second axis. A DC current responsive to the current of the armature windings is applied to the second DC exciting winding. A fundamental exciting current component I.sub.FO and an additional exciting component .DELTA.I.sub.F responsive to the current of the armature windings are applied to the first DC exciting winding or windings, whereby with respect to the current distribution around the gap of the synchronous machine, the armature reaction is correctly compensated.

摘要： An AC motor having AC windings with an internal electromotive force is driven by an electric valve feeding apparatus having electric valves commutated by the internal electromotive force of the AC windings. The commutation of the electric valve is carried out under the condition of U>.pi./m where m designates the number of commutation times per AC cycle of the electric valve feeding apparatus and U designates a commutation overlapping angle of the electric angle to feed the current to the AC windings whereby the motor is driven by the electric valve feeding apparatus.
