摘要： A light alloy seat back frame for a vehicle seat, including a pair of spaced apart side sections, an upper section interconnecting the side sections, a lower section formed into a substantially plate-shape having a width, the lower section extending between lower regions of rear sides of the side sections and interconnecting the side sections, the upper, side and lower sections being integrally made of light alloy, and a belt-shaped metal plate fixed onto a surface of the lower section. The seat back frame further includes a recliner mechanism for allowing a seat back of the vehicle seat to be pivoted with respect to a seat cushion of the vehicle seat. The recliner mechanism comprises cam devices mounted onto lower regions of outer surfaces of the side sections, and an actuating shaft extending along the lower section and interconnecting the cam devices. A metal pipe member for reinforcing a lower part of the seat back frame is mounted around an axial portion of the actuating shaft. There is also disclosed a vehicle seat provided with the seat back frame.

The vehicle seat includes a seat back frame made of a light alloy and formed into a substantially quadrilateral shape, the seat back frame comprising an upper section, left and right side sections, and a lower section, an airbag module provided at one of the left and right side sections, the airbag module being adapted to be enclosed by stay cloths which are sewn at one terminals thereof together with terminals of front and side portions of a trim cover, first and second retainer members secured to the side section for retaining the other terminals of the stay cloths, the first and second retainer members including applying plate portions, the applying portion of the first retainer member being applied onto one surface of the side section, the applying portion of the second retainer member being applied onto the other surface of the side section, bolts penetrating the applying portion of the first retainer member, the side section, and the applying portion of the second retainer member, and nuts mounted on the bolts, so that the first and second retainer members are fastened together to the side section so as to be interpose the side section therebetween.

摘要： A headrest is attached to a square frame-shaped seatback frame so that the headrest can be moved back and forth by an upper lever. The upper lever is connected by a connection rod to a lower lever provided at the seatback frame. Left and right connection arms of a rear collision detector are attached to the lower lever. Backward movement of the rear collision detector moves forward the headrest via the connection rod and the upper lever. The connection arms of the rear collision detector are fixed to the lower lever, held at a predetermined angle.

摘要： A retainer for fixing terminals of springs 7 to a round shaft 3 of a seat frame for a seat is disclosed. Each of the terminals of the springs is formed into a substantially U-shape. The retainer includes a body 6a of a substantially U-shape in cross-section which is adapted to be mounted on the round shaft 3, and pairs of first and second spring-engaging pieces 6b, 6c bent laterally from both edges of the U-shaped body 6a. The retainer is adapted to fix the substantially U-shaped terminals of the springs 7 to the round shaft 3 with the first and second spring-engaging pieces 6b, 6c thereof being engaged with the substantially U-shaped terminals of the springs 7.
