Abstract:
Systems and methods of processing print jobs comprising at least two documents and/or at least two printing devices via a cloud printing service are provided. A network printing server, in a cloud printing environment, can receive instructions to print the documents from any of a plurality of user devices to be printed at printing devices registered to the user device. The network printing server generates a print job for each file-destination pair. For each print job, the network printing server identifies one or more general options that apply to all of the print jobs and one or more detailed options that apply to a portion of the print jobs. The destination printing devices are connected via a public network (e.g., the Internet) to the network printing server that provides a cloud printing service.
Abstract:
An approach is provided for retrieving electronic documents. The approach provides a Web-based graphical user interface that allows users to construct complex queries that include Boolean clauses, proximity clauses and/or keyword phrases, without requiring the users to have a working knowledge of query languages. The Web-based graphical user interface also allows users to specify a semantic meaning for one or more search terms. The approach also allows users to generate various reports for search results. Various filters may be applied to manage the amount of reporting data and semantic meanings may be applied to increase relevancy. A time cost estimator provides an estimated review time for search results. Also included are approaches for using the results of simple searches to perform advanced searches, for estimating the cost and/or time for reviewing search results and for performing tagging analysis and for using logical custodians.
Abstract:
An approach is provided for ranking cloud printing devices. A printing device ranking service is configured to retrieve printing device information data that specifies one or more attributes of a plurality of printing devices and print job data that specifies one or more attributes of a plurality of print jobs that have been processed by the plurality of printing devices. The printing device ranking service determines, based at least upon the printing device information data and the print job data, rankings data for the plurality of printing devices, wherein the rankings data indicate a ranking of the printing devices from the plurality of printing devices.

Abstract:
A screen area capturing an image including the screen area; obtaining candidate boundaries of the screen area; converting the candidate boundaries into straight lines; carrying out binary image processing with regard to the captured image; obtaining boundary pixels of a maximum target area, and letting the boundary pixels serve as an outline of the maximum target area; selecting straight lines on the outline from the converted straight lines; dividing the selected straight lines into four classes; and obtaining final straight lines by carrying out straight line fitting with regard to straight lines in the respective classes so as to obtain four boundaries of the screen area.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and a device for detecting traffic signs in an input image camera. The method comprises a color space converting step of converting the input image into a HSV color space image; a filtering step of filtering, based on a predetermined pass range of a standard color of each of the traffic signs, the HSV color space image to obtain a filtered image, and then generating one or more connected domains based on one or more regions in the filtered image; a removing step of removing, based on a standard rule of the corresponding traffic sign, at least one of the generated connected domains, not being the corresponding traffic sign, and letting others of the generated connected domains be candidate traffic sign domains; and a recognition step of recognizing, based on a feature of each of the candidate traffic sign domains, the corresponding traffic sign.

Abstract:
An approach is provided for managing processing rules used to process electronic data in computer networks. An application provides the capability for users to define and manage classifications for electronic data. The application also provides the capability for users to define and manage processing rules for each classification. This may include specifying, for each processing rule, a classification to which the processing rule corresponds, one or more conditions under which the processing rule is to be applied and optionally, not applied, a priority for the processing rule, and one or more actions to be performed. The priority may be used to determine which rule is to be applied when more than one rule corresponds to a classification. The application supports the definition and management of classifications and rules on a logical group-by-logical group basis.
